Goodreads refugees original 2013 where we'll be list in case you want to update yours

Well, at least if you kept a goodreads account.  I really do not want to lose touch with anyone.  Hopefully everyone updates such threads and their profiles on various sites so we know who was who on booklikes.

My original post #335 reads: "I can also be found: booklikes, BookRabbit (seems to have died) fictfact, Leafmarks, libib, LibraryThing, The Reading Room   (loved the site features but very little member activity) and Fictiondb ( not actually seeing a social side to it but the series information has attracted me to try)..."

If link in title not working, that was https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1506677-your-booklikes-names---please-post-your-name-here

Anyone sharing booklikes posts to blogger or Wordpress?

I was wondering how satisfied anyone was with sharing booklikes posts to blogger or Wordpress.

I tried the share with Twitter (didn't care for it because always chopped off the book title/author so endlessly just linked back to booklikes post).

I'm done with goodreads.  I've never cared for Librarything even before Amazon bought partial ownership.   booklikes and Leafmarks are suspiciously absent of staff activity so am concerned enough for my content I'm actually considering blogger or Wordpress.

Oh, I'm not voluntarily leaving or giving up completely on booklikes or Leafmarks -- but have concerns about both.

Anyone know a good alternative for goodreads groups/bookclubs?

Let's face it - booklikes and Leafmarks were both so promising (many of my goodreads groups even tried echoing to both sites) but have failed to beef up group features.  Staff at both have been suspiciously inactive.

Has anyone found a social, non-publsher-specific site, forum, book community, app, or whatever that holds a candle to goodreads in terms of things like book of the month discussions, buddy reads, games and challenges?

And I'm not looking for goodreads reincarnated - for starters, I don't expect any site to have that 20+ million membership.

Anyone have a good backup solution for booklikes?

How are you backing up your book catalog data, posts and reviews here?

Find a good app?  Good instructions for doing manually?  Tips? Ideas?

Staff is being so eerily silent, inactive and so unreachable by email or blog post comment I'm not the only one nervous.

If one or more of us resort to having individual blogs or at least echoing to -- what apps and services are you participating in -- bloglovin, etc.?
