Meryam, with Ramahd’s help, alters the protective sigils on the city’s outer walls, weakening them...and so the thing approaches...

expecting to have this book book done by late tomorrow, and am leaning towards A Taste For Honey after that.

this book jumps back and forth between groupings of far-flung characters, across a vast desert realm, and I’m taking a break after two chapters that have ended in cliffhangers...so, yeah, I’ll probably read a bit more this evening.

meanwhile, thoughts on my next book choice: A Taste For Honey? A Death In The Family (Michael Stanley)? Maigret’s HolidayGeneration Loss? Fire In The Thatch?

so, it’s about three weeks since the devastating Night of Endless Swords, and four chapters worked hard to get me re-acquainted with whoever survived, or semi-survived, and who is where, and who controls whom, and some of the schemes and plans being cooked up for the go-forward.

I’m back in the sand, again...
