"Shattered" by Helen Hardt

My Synopsis....

This was another good Steel Brothers Saga # 7 that featured mainly Ryan and Ruby along with the rest of the brothers, sister and sister in laws.  We find the two older brothers are getting married and all are in Jamaica having a good time.  But something will happen to two of the guest at the resort that will shorten their trip.  Upon coming home Ryan and Ruby seem to be coming together with such hot and steamy chemistry however, after a  text and phone call will cause secrets to start coming out that will put quite a damper on this relationship.  How will this situation be handled by the other family members and even Ruby as she is involved too?  Even toward the end of this series both Ryan and Ruby will receive a phone call that will send this twisted intensed story into a cliffhanger for this novel and will only leave the reader wanting to know more.  Hopeful in the end Ryan and Ruby will get to a HEA.

My Thoughts....

What a wonderful amazing read that you might even find yourself praying and even praising God as you read through this beautiful well written novel 'Put It in Ink.' Yes, this is a beautifully written Christian fiction read.  This author really know how to keep the readers attention turning the pages to see what is coming next.  I loved how the 'love, betrayal, lust, greed, heartache, revenge and woven relationships' that was all brought into this story and coming out with such powerful scriptures that would help all that wanted it in there lives there in Shreveport.  The characters presented in this novel from Nikiya, Raja, Monica, Marcus, Sappora,  Delena, Patrick, Michelle, Jerome, Leslie, Pastor Strong to name a few and some of their friendships were all so well developed, portrayed and oh so believable giving the reader one good read with this story that mainly started because of a beauty shop owner. My favorite part o the read was learning about 'Sappora Ink blog talk radio show- Real Folks, Real Truth.' Now that was something that was really interesting in this read that really brought in what was so needed for so many.  Thank you to the author for sharing such a remarkable story with your readers that I would definitely recommend to all.  It was wonderful seeing how one can 'triumph over adversity and how faith can bring one through every situation.'  Thank you to the author for a wonderful good read.

My Thoughts...

All I can say is this is was a unusual poetical love story as this author gives the readers the ending first and then worked the story forward as the story comes full circled by the end.  So, what should the readers expect?  Well get ready for a little bit of it all...from the gritty, raw and simply painful at times that will definitely leave one saying wow!  We find Jamey Hyde who came from a rich family and then their was Elise Perez who was poor coming together being so very opposite. So, really what could one expect  would happen for all that went on with these two that definitely seemed to be on quite a roller coaster ride? Now, I will say this story wasn't just with these two but also their families and friends.  Would I say this story was similar to the Romeo and Juliet story? Yes,  a little but I found this story was also filled with so much more raw grittiness with lots of emotions. Yes, this was a very obsessive relationship, with crime, some off the chart erotic sex scenes, so be aware of that fact among some other real issues that are full of 'trials and tribulations.'  I did feel that the story went on and on a little bit that seemed to drag somewhat but the story did however pick up getting your attention as you continued on to see what was coming next and then we get a strange unexpected  weird twist of a end. If you are looking for a love story that will be told in a very unusual way then you have come to the right place for "White Fur" will be the read I would recommend to you.

My Thoughts....

This story was quite a well written read where the characters struggles were definitely ones that could be faced by just anyone you may know.

For Melanie and Craig were having some real hard times in their marriage where one could at one point or another not know to whom to feel more sorry for.  Less not forget those neighbors who added quite a lot to the read.  This is definitely one of those reads that will promote a lots of thoughts that will touch one just about on any level.

"Home" is of a real story of a 'family relationship, trust, romance, sadness, longing, love and less not forget a prayer' as each one of thee well developed characters will have their own struggles in trying to find there  way home. Will these characters be able to overcome their struggles?

"Home" will definitely help one to understand more about relationships that are often faced  in today's society.

My Thoughts....

What will happen when Garrett meets Cara in a fancy SUV on the side of the road?  How will this 'city' girl from Chicago and this 'redneck from Hotchkiss come together?  Who knew when he met her that he would be working as a 'country ambassador' helping Cara find her way around the area

of the back roads of Colorado.  Cara is a free lance magazine writer wanting to write about the farming people of heartland of America around Hotchkiss. Now, from all of this I think one can almost see how this read will be.   Boy gets girl? What will happen as Cara starts to fall for Garrett?

It's like their chemistry was simply pure and sweet magic and as the story continues the reader gets such a engaging love story that seems so right for them. I loved how this author was able to help all with the delicate and much better understanding of what all went into farming where is was more than business but it was for the peoples as well as there livelihood.

This author will give the readers 'one swoon-worthy moments with some intensed connections' that will definitely keep you turning the pages with this sweet romance.  I loved all the bantering that went on in the read that will certainly keep you smiling.

By the end of the read you get one amazing, funny, sweet, hot & sexy read that will definitely put a smile on your face.  Will the formula this author uses in bring these two together work?  Well, you will have to pick up 'Second Chance Season' to see!
