This is exactly what the title promises
Transformers: The Cover Collection #1 - Digital Exclusive - John Barber,James Roberts,Livio Ramondelli,Casey Coller,Andrew Griffith,Marcelo Matere,Alex Milne,Nick Roche,and more

Covers.   Transformers comics cover art, from the current sister series More Than Meets the Eye (MTMtE) and Robots in Disguise (RiD).   All covers, be they variants, regular covers, retailer incentives, or reprint covers from the first sixteen issues and some trade collections, too.

Delicious.   Just delicious.   Take this for example:

Beautiful artwork!   And sexy as hell.  It promised me something, and gave me that.   Well worth the one dollar spent on this.

As for the Kindle Cloud Reader with graphic novels?  I wouldn't suggest it.   I'll purchase another of these if they're digital exclusives, but it's so laggy and such a pain, I'd rather purchase and read this - and enjoy it! - in paperback.   It doesn't work on my iPhone, and since Fires trigger my migraines, I'd only be able to read this on the Cloud Reader or my Paperwhite - and I really wanted it in all of its glorious colors!

This, like Legacy, is just... mindblowingly amazing to me.   Just pure art, all Transformers. I'd be willing to read another collection like this on the Cloud Reader, but nothing else.   (I wasn't willing to buy an issue since samples in the Cloud won't let you zoom in for text, and are also super laggy.   This I was willing to risk because no words, and was it worth it.   *swoons*)

Now to see where to properly grovel for another collection, plz.

Reading progress update: I've read 100 out of 130 pages.

So who was super excited when this showed up as a digital exclusive?   This girl!

Does it matter that I could get these elsewhere?   Bundled neatly, and in large, good quality files, I get every single cover of the first sixteen issues of More Than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise.   Variants, reprints, retailer incentives, everything.

And was it worth the dollar?   Hells yes, but only if you really, really seeing a bunch of Prime, Magnus, Starscream, and Bumblebee.   (And, ugh, even Hot Rod did it for me once.   What the fuck, cover?  My brain says no, my ovaries say yes.)

And then you get to this brilliant Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band cover.

So, yes, definitely with the dollar.

As a side note, I picked this up to test comics under the Kindle Cloud Reader.   How does it fare?  Not very well.   It keeps stalling.   At one point - what I'm calling page 77/130 since each location is a new page and it has 130 locations - it kepis stalling even after I signed out and back in again.   I had to go to location 80, go back a page, and then go forward again.   Weird.

So the conclusion is that I may or may not purchase more comics.  I definitely am willing to go through this for another cover collection as there are too many for me to own, although I'd prefer a collection in paper.

And seriously, I can read two pages, then it freezes long enough for me to read a page or two of a comic, then I can go on.   If this wasn't my version of porn, I'd have given up long ago...
