MY REVIEW

I think the title for Walk With Me by Debra Schoenberger speaks for itself, photographs taken on the fly. Expensive cameras are not required to save the moment for future enjoyment. I think most of us have a trusty cellphone with us.

I have been shooting photography for a long time and my camera has been with me longer than my Kindle, though both are now ‘a must have on me all the time’ companion.

I’m sure there is a photograph in Walk With Me that will make you smile, maybe create a frown, or provoke some heavy thinking.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Walk With Me by Debra Schoenberger.

WALK WITH ME by Debra Schoenberger
WALK WITH ME - Debra Schoenberger

I am a huge fan of Debra Schoenberger photography books. She takes some amazing photo's. Her photos are not staged which I love the most. She just walks down a street and pops off some photo's. I love taking pictures myself and have about 70,000 on my computer. A lot of my photo's are just like hers. Something caught my eye and I took a photo of it. I am sure we all have photo's like this.

Debra shares her photo's with all of us. Most of her books have a theme, like her book To Be a Child, is pictures of children, Her book India is sites taken in India of both people and places. This book, Walk With Me doesn't really have a theme. There are several pictures of shoes though.  I think it is one of her best books yet. The photo's are pictures of everything you can imagine, people, places, and things. Some are even out of focus. The pictures are taken from all the places she has visited.

There is one photo in the book where she has taken a photo of a man taking a photo of a building in front of them. You can see the building through his camera lens. it is an awesome photo. There is another picture of a woman with a pigeon setting on her arm, she is taking a picture of another lady with her cell phone, and you can see the lady standing there and also through the cell phone screen.

I absolutely loved the photo of of a broken sidewalk with a puddle of water. In the puddle you see a large buildings reflection.

I could go on and on about the pictures in this book that spoke to me. Debra is amazing. Grab a copy of this book and see for yourself. I am sure at least one will bring a smile to your face.

I received this book from the Author Debra Schoenberger via iRead Book Tours to read and review.

INDIA
INDIA - Debra Schoenberger INDIA - Debra Schoenberger I would love to give this book many many stars 5 is just not enough. As With Debra Schoenberger's other photography books I was left breathless with the beauty she shows in her photos. This book focuses on the Country of India not just one city.

There are so many awesome photos in this book I cannot pick just 1 that would be my favorite. The photos show not only the beauty of India but the everyday, like people going about their daily lives, business, shopping, and more. The sad, some of the run down areas, some areas look to literally be falling down around the people. Some scary like the electrical wires. Wow I would be terrified to walk under that wire mess much less plug something into the electricity. Then there are the cute, I loved the one of a dog laying under a 3 wheeled motorcycle, it really wasn't anything special that caught my eye, I really can't explain it, it just was awesome to me. There are cows just in the streets, lot of dogs and cats. Some wildlife and so much more. I loved all of the color in the photo's one simply has a lady holding a umbrella in front of her in front of an alley, the picture was taken up the alley from her and it was just great.

I love Debra's photography books. She has a wonderful eye for taking photos that really catch the readers eye as well as the imagination. Her books make great coffee table books. They are to amazing for a book shelf.

My Grand Kids also looked through this book with me and they are 2 and 4. They loved the pictures as much as I did. After we finished the book, my 4 year old Grand Daughter looked through the book again on her own. he spotted new and different things in some of the pictures then she did the first time around. This to me makes the book even more special.

To Be a Child
To Be a Child - Debra Schoenberger To Be a Child - Debra Schoenberger I am in awe of the book. It is amazing, Awesome, wonderful, fantastic. I love each and every picture. I love how each picture tells a story and no words were needed at all. I fell blessed to have been one of the chosen to review this book.
Debra Schoenberger has managed to tell one heck of a story without using any words at all. The pictures in this book are just amazing. If I had to pinpoint 1 picture in this book as being my favorite I couldn't. I did see a few that stuck with me.
There is one of a small child setting in a man's lap, I assume her father. It does not show the people faces, but the way he has his arms around the child and his hands crossed over her, it just screams I Love this child.
There is a picture of a mother fixing her daughters hair, the girl probably 5 is pouting, there is another little girl standing beside them, she looks to be about 2 or 3 and she is wringing her hands and looking at the floor with this look on her face like "Oh no and I'm next", I just had to laugh at this picture.
There is also a set of 4 pictures, a little girl and her Daddy waiting on the train beside a snow covered hill, both of them are reading the newspaper. The little girl looks to be about 2 or 3.
I could go on and on until I described all of the pictures in this book. they are just wonderful. You can see so much in the eyes and expressions on thee kids faces that you need no words at all.
I have the PDF version of the book but will be getting the hard copy. My Grand Kids love looking at pictures of kids, They really enjoy my photo albums. They love to discuss each picture in them. What the child is doing, are they mad, sad, happy. They decide what each picture depicts. They would really love this book.. With so many pictures in so many situations.
Great Job Debra!!!!
