The Hero (Sons of Texas) - Donna Grant

The first book in Donna Grant's Sons of Texas was refreshingly different from her Dark World universe. I enjoyed every second of this spy thriller adventure with the first of the three Loughman boys coming home to find his uncle and aunt murdered, father kidnapped, and his childhood sweetheart, that he left after graduation in order to protect her from his kind of life, neck deep in trouble with the Russians. Natalie has tried so hard to forget Owen the past 14 years since he turned his back on her and their future without explaining why, so when he shows back up to find murder and mayhem, she tries very hard to keep her distance while trying to find his father. Both have a lot to work through and while trying to do that they are dodging bullets, Russian hitmen, ties to the Russian Embassy and government, and dealing with the fact that the boys totally misjudged their father. I enjoyed their story and I look forward to the other two boys having their own adventures while trying find and save their father and keep a bio weapon out of Russian hands.

Moon Thrall - Donna Grant

The second book in the LaRue series brings us a reporter on a mission to inform everyone she can of what lurks in the shadows of New Orleans, and the youngest LaRue brother who takes on the mission to stop her from reporting any more of the truth. Their story was quick but didn’t feel rushed. It had action and adventure and the characters really do pop off the page. I always enjoy a DG book and this one doesn’t disappoint. I liked how things developed between Court and Skye. It felt real and believable even with the story being around 200 pages. The curse of the novella doesn’t visit this story, which always make it stronger. I look forward to reading more about the LaRue brothers.

Loved It!
Dark Alpha's Night: A Reaper Novel (Reapers) - Donna Grant

To some Fae, I am their worst nightmare. For I do Death’s bidding. But for all our strength and skill, a powerful enemy has risen up. Finding Ettie could change everything. The Half-Fae is our one chance. She’s sharp and strong and fierce. She steals my breath every time I'm near her. And looking into her eyes is like a bolt of lightning right through me. She’s what I’ve been waiting for my long, dark existence. But for us to be together, we must first stay alive…

This is the next book in Donna Grant’s Reaper series. This Reaper take is about Daire, the reaper we’ve met throughout Rhi’s storyline in the dragon series. Now that he’s back with the reapers, he starts to go a little stir crazy until a clue on their enemy’s next target. Even though I’d been secretly hoping he’d find happiness with Rhi, Ettie didn’t disappoint. I loved seeing a much more in depth look into him and getting to know Ettie. Very good book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I highly recommend.

Donna Grant keeps her Dark World full of exciting and surprising twists, lots of adrenaline pumping action, thrilling suspense and fascinating characters and the Reapers are an exhilarating part of that world that brings more of the Dark World to life ensuring that readers can never get enough. Dark Alpha’s Night is a brilliant story in the Reaper series, it is full of surprises and keeps readers on the edge of their seat in anticipation while providing readers with an excellent romance that has fiery sparks flying in every direction along with some emotional turbulence that adds depth to the story.  I was completely caught up in the fast paced and suspenseful plot from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down until I had read every last detail. Great Book and Great Characters
Heat - Donna Grant

Nikolai is a dragon shifter who has a special gift of instant memorization. Because of that, he is very solitary. There is one person he doesn’t want to stay away from and when Esther asks for his help, everything in his world will change.

This was the next novel in Donna Grant’s Dark Kings series. As with the others, it didn’t disappoint. I loved it. I loved Nikolai and really loved Esther’s journey. She had appeared in other books, so I was happy she got an HEA. Giving us a different perspective of Ulrik makes me want his book to hurry up and get here! Poor Rhi! She has been my favorite character throughout all of these books and this one had me wanting to punch something for her. It’s driving me nuts not knowing her dragon! I can’t wait for the next book.
