Okay first of all, the book's description of Ruth is she's small breasted. The girl on the cover is NOT small breasted. Publisher - read the book before doing the cover!!
The book itself was okay. I read in the author's biography that she likes to have conflict in the romance because that's the way it usually is in real life. But there's not this much conflict or the woman would be a complete idiot. Ruth, no matter what the guys said, kept thinking she was being used. Then she would think that she should just let them have their ways, but then again she doesn't want her heart to break, however, she's already emotionally vested so it'll break anyway. And on and on and on.
I was planning reading more of this Freakn' series by the author, but I'm taking a break.
Oh my gosh, what a cryfest I had. I hate cruelty for cruelty's sake and that is so much what Sandro seemed to be doing to Theresa. Even if the marriage was for the reasons you think, there was no reason to be so mean. Theresa did have a hard time forgiving him but I think I would have taken a whole lot longer. Really good book!
