Audio Review: The Greek's Virgin Captive (Evermore #2) by Clare Connelly (author), Meghan Kelly (narrator)
The Greek's Virgin Captive (Evermore #2) - Meghan Kelly,Clare Connelly

It's a fight to the finish. The Greek's Virgin Captive proves itself an uphill climb when it comes to matters of the heart. Apollo and Eleanor stir up ever emotion imaginable. From the most vulnerable to the deepest tragedy, Connelly sets out to tie a heart in a thousand knots while taking control of the soul. I've read Clare Connelly off and on for years, but I have to say that she's at her best when in audio. There is a revitalization that adds a bit more depth to an already soulful tale. Kelly gives off that extra spark that hits me in the heart everytime.

The Sheikh's Baby Bargain was never meant to be a fairytale. Connelly delves deep into the soul to create a not always beautiful, totally unpredictable and beyond unforgettable, second chance romance. Turbulent love and tainted hearts becomes a courageous romance that never wants to let go.

Evermore Dragon - Barbara Joosse,Randy C... Evermore Dragon - Barbara Joosse,Randy Cecil

Another story about a little girl and her dragon friend. Similar in style to the first. I still really enjoyed the gorgeous, calming illustrations and the lyrical style used to the tell the story. It is such a soothing book. Great for bedtime.

However, I was a little disappointed to see that the whole crying thing made a comeback. Can this girl do anything but cry when she faces a problem? I didn't like this one as much as the first because of the crying. I could kind of see the reason in the first, but this one could have been handled differently. She could have at least wished for help or yelled for the dragon or something. But no, there she is again, whispering and crying.

Still a beautiful book in terms of language and illustrations. But I wish the girl had a more active role. Love the dragon, but could do without the magical crying.

King Tomb (Forever Evermore)
King Tomb (Forever Evermore) - Scarlett Dawn 3 stars

Elder Harcourt didn't watch her go, his gaze steadfast at the Rulers. Only a golden eagle in the sky saw the wicked smirk that curved his lips..

*sigh*
I feel like I waited since book one for certain things to happen and when they finally did it was so rushed. It was like the last 20% was full of events that I expected from this book and waited for and I needed much more detail and explanation and kick-ass Kings and Queens in general.
