Favorite book(s) of the month: Entsetzen, The Best we Could Do

Books started this month but haven't finished yet: Tote Augen

7 books, man. What is happening at the moment? I can't believe I'm getting through so many books. I also haven't read any book this month that I didn't enjoy, so I'm pretty happy with my reading choices in march.

Everything Reminds You of Something Else
Everything Reminds You of Something Else - Elana Wolff

First things first: I received this book through NetGalley.

The book comes out April, 1st.

Would you look at that, I'm actually reviewing an ARC before the book comes out. Haven't had that in a while. I'm trying to fix that.

This book is full of beautiful poetry, which I really want to get into this year. So this is my second book, and I still have so much to learn about it, so I'm in no way an expert to poetry.

But I really liked the writing, all these poems were so beautiful written and reading them, I just had the greatest time and really enjoyed every single page.

I just didn't really connect with any of the poems. There wasn't one that really stuck with me, that I want to reread over and over again. That's making me a bit sad.

But still, I highly recommend this book, cause even though I didn't connect with the words, I'm sure lots of other people will. And have I mentioned how beautiful written these poems are?!

Day 10: A Book that reminds you of home

This is a really hard one for me because I am a nomad.

But there is a certain sense of nostalgia when I think of 'home'. Sometimes it's just books for me, and sometimes it's where my family and friends are at and sometimes it's even the internet.

But I'll have to say, Finnikin of the Rock did make me slightly nostalgic. As someone who has lived most of her life outside her country, you tend to miss it from time to time, of course, when you do go back, you may or may not have a cultural shock :P
