Charles Dickens reviews 'The Fault in Our Stars'

Just in case you thought only live people could review books, Black Balloon publishers has recently acquired the services of several famous authors who happen to not be. Alive that is.

In the first of this series here's Mr Dickens giving us his reaction to John Green's recent bestseller, which he happened to pick up on a visit to the beard-dresser.

Everyone likes to dress up at Halloween and the Famous Dead Authors are no exception. They vie with each other for originality and flair - George Orwell’s appearance as Marie Antoinette (with Gore Vidal playing the part of the guillotine) is still spoken of with envious whispers - so it’s important that last year’s devastating faux pas is avoided.

It seems this year’s costume exhibition will be a triumph - although isn’t there always one Halloween party guest who gets overexcited and goes that one step too far?
