Reading progress update: I've read 53%.
Saving Sebastian - Luna David

“Look, I don’t know what’s going on with you. But from what I could see through the window, that wasn’t you. That’s not the older brother I’ve looked up to all my life. You crushed that boy. God, the love he had for you.” He shook his head again. “Every time your name was mentioned his face would light up. If you didn’t see it, you were blind, brother.”

Ever After
Ever After - Christina Lee,Riley Hart

Overall this was quite lovely and I adored both Merrick and Cas. Their relationship developed quite beautifully and the scene at the Inn was easily my favorite. Such touching and sweet moments.

The addition of cars threw me for a loop though. I get I propably wasn't to take anything to literally as this was a fairy tale in the true sense but these cars felt sooo out of place in the world created here. Plus who doesn't love a good carriage ride.

This for me had zero angst which I appreciated considering I saw some comments that made this out to be an angst filled nightmare. For me this had some fantastic sexual tension with a HEA you knew was in the horizon.

Hard To Let Go
Hard to Let Go: A Haven's Cove Novel - Jaclyn Quinn

Impressive. Honestly, if I had been handed this book and known nothing about this author (which I honestly know very little) I would never have guessed that this was her first book.  This was so fantastic.

A childhood bully/bullied, enemies to lovers story, this one had all the buildup I look for.  The kissing was scorching hot and honestly the entire relationship developed amazingly well.

While I started out feeling this had similarities to another recent book I have read, this steered quickly into new territory and the story grew quite beautifully.  Brody’s childhood and his relationship with his mother was just heartbreaking. But the love and devotion that transpired tapped into the feels something hard.  Phew.  I was a mess.

For the first time in Owen’s memory, the long table his grandfather built over 40 years ago, was filled with family-blood and chosen.

Family indeed.  This had such a strong sense of family. Of love.  Of commitment. And of support. These moments were simply beautiful.

I have heard more is to come from this author and eagerly await more on Jonah.  He was a quiet force but so compassionate and strong.  And Gabe…wow!  Look out.  I am so in love with this character.  His style, his wit and his love for Brody was written perfectly.  In addition, the banter with Leslie was just so well done and genuine.  Every scene felt real.

I adored the aunts, the mothers and even sweet and confused Nate.  Cannot wait to see more from this guy as well.

Overall, I adored every moment of this book and cannot find one thing to complain about. LOL

** Highly Recommended**

An ARC was received from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

The Raven King - Nora Sakavic

He was their family. They were his. They were worth every cut and bruise and scream.

Reading progress update: I've read 92%.
The Raven King - Nora Sakavic

Facing Riko like this went against everything his mother taught him. He'd been raised to run, to sacrifice everything and everyone to ensure his own survival. His mother had never given him ground to stand on. Maybe that was why he hadn't been strong enough to save her in the end. A jumble of lies had nothing to fight for. But Neil Josten was a Fox. Andrew called this home; Nicky called him family. Neil wasn't going to lose any of it. If two weeks with Riko was the price to keep his team safe, Neil would pay it.
