It uses his old patients, it hurts him deeply, and it forces him to confront his own misery.   And honestly, anything Mister Misery could do now pales in comparison to using Wong against him.   Still, I find it heartbreaking and breathtaking to see these two old friends pitted against each other, and I was sure there wouldn't be a way to save Wong. 

 

It seems there will be - but not in the way I expected.   It also seems that this is going to be much harder on them both than I expected. 

 

Tense, not as humorous as some of the issues have been - but that's to be expected.   This is a pretty serious issue.   I'm hoping Wong comes out of this alright, too.  I didn't realize quite how fond I was of him until we've almost lost him.

He skated to Riverdance which was made famous when it debuted at the 1994 Eurovision in Dublin, Ireland as an interval act. He received a standing ovation after skating his long program because he is the only figure skater so far who has skated to Riverdance at a competition. Other figure skaters have skated to Riverdance but they did it outside competitions like the Riverdance on Ice show.

In the second installment of the series we meet some new characters, get to know more about some old ones, and meet and battle the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This is a case of brains over brawn. With Pestilence, Famine, War, and Death on a mission to release hell on earth it is up to the Crypto Squad to figure out how to stop the world from coming to an end. If you are a fan of Cryptids and action, this is an action packed series worthy of your time.

I was very surprised by this book. It's much shorter book than I normally read. The first half, I decided I didn't like it, but it was short, and I don't like to give up on a book. If I don't like it after I finished it, I just won't read any more like it. This was different. It wasn't until things took a turn for the worst, and all the characters were forced to take action, or die. That's when I started becoming interested. Once I got to the climax I was hooked. I loved it and can't wait to read more books like this one!

Written in a comic book style, it's fast action and a easy read. There are a few things I think should have been explained more, and a little back story on the characters would have been nice, but that doesn't diminish the quality of the book, and the characters are great as they are.

Action, adventure, and cryptids!! A clever little short about a government team of high level operatives consisting of all the cryptids you can think of and then some. This is the first story in the series. The stories are a little short but action packed. If you are a fan of Sasquatch, the Mothman, Nessie, or the Jersey Devil and carnage then pick this up and enjoy.
