This book should have been called "The Very Bad End." I read the entire series, which I thoroughly enjoyed, hoping that in the last book at least SOME of the mysteries/questions would be answered. Instead, nothing is resolved and I was left with more questions. I feel like the author didn't know how to wrap up all the loose ends, gave readers a hopelessly entangled knot of ideas, and then said, "Meh, figure it all out on your own."
