Llama Llama is not feeling to well and he stays at home with Mama Llama. Mama Llama tends to Llama Llama with care and love. Llama Llama does not like the feeling about being sick, but his mama makes him feel loved and eventually makes him feel better. I would use this book in my classroom to help students to relate to when they are at home sick with their parents. I can show my students how much their parents do to take care of them while they are sick.

In this Llama Llama book, Llama Llama goes to school for the first time and he does not know what to do without his mama there with him. At the beginning, it takes Llama Llama some time to get use to school, but his teacher makes him feel comfortable about being at school. Llama Llama then begins to feel more comfortable about school. I would use this book in my class to show my students that may not feel uncomfortable about coming to school for the very first time without their mom or dad.  I would show them how Llama Llama felt at the beginning, but he ended up feeling better about school.

In this book Llama Llama had went to the grocery store with Mama Llama. Llama Llama had to learn how to have patience with Mama Llama in the grocery store. I can use this story in my classroom when I am trying to teach my students how to have patience. This book gives examples of how someone acts when they are not being patient.
