Bookstore #LibraryLove

Picked up these books from my libraries bookstore yesterday when we visited.

Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter" I own and read the first three years ago, long before blogging and really enjoyed them. I'm going to give them a try again, but the ones above are for a giveaway.

Christine Warren's "The Others" series is fun. I liked all the ones I read. This is another series I read years ago, before blogging and will be giving the ones above away for a giveaway.

Library Love
Some #LibraryLove today!

Picked up these lovely books to read. Maybe this time around I'll actually pick up and start reading Midnight Marked. I've graved it 2x's before, but for some reason wasn't in the mood to read it. Third time is the charm. I wanting to finish the Chicagoland Vampires series before Feb. 2018.

As for Jane Yellowrock. I'm taking my time with the series. Sometimes you want to read one after the other and other times you need a little break in-between the books.

Library Book Store Purchase
Went to my library today and found this beauty in the Library Book Store. I've seen this author and book around, but haven't tried it out. My purchase $0.50c helps the library and I get to grab something new to try.

Daughter of the Sword - http://amzn.to/2jxvLkx

Blurb:
Mariko Oshiro is not your average Tokyo cop. As the only female detective in the city’s most elite police unit, she has to fight for every ounce of respect, especially from her new boss. While she wants to track down a rumored cocaine shipment, he gives her the least promising case possible. But the case—the attempted theft of an old samurai sword—proves more dangerous than anyone on the force could have imagined.

The owner of the sword, Professor Yasuo Yamada, says it was crafted by the legendary Master Inazuma, a sword smith whose blades are rumored to have magical qualities. The man trying to steal it already owns another Inazuma—one whose deadly power eventually comes to control all who wield it. Or so says Yamada, and though he has studied swords and swordsmanship all his life, Mariko isn’t convinced.

But Mariko’s skepticism hardly matters. Her investigation has put her on a collision course with a curse centuries old and as bloodthirsty as ever. She is only the latest in a long line of warriors and soldiers to confront this power, and even the sword she learns to wield could turn against her.

Library Hold Wait List

This is my wait list hold at my library. I was really excited to see Keystone by Dannika Dark offered for audio at my library. I've looked for Dannika Dark books before and well they just don't have them, but this one they do. I can't wait to try the audio out. Got to love the Ilona Andrews team. Ya, I'm listening to their books. I've read them several times now and am enjoying the audios. For the Dresden Files, I thought I try out an audio in the series. I've enjoyed reading, but lately when I bring a book home I from the library I don't read it. I've been gravitating to audios more. Not much into reading lately. Well I've got a wait.

Oh the wait.....
