Monthly Run Down - March 2019
Books I Read:
Him - 5 Stars - Re-read. I will never not love this book.
Thick - 4 Stars - A short tale of insta-love.
I Almost Forgot About You - 2 Stars - The supporting characters annoyed the crap out of me.
One for the Money - 4 Stars - I really like Stephanie despite the less than smart choices she makes sometimes.
Just the Funny Parts:... and a Few Hard Truths about Sneaking Into the Hollywood Boys’ Club - 3.5 Stars - Tons of great info and good stories to learn from.
This Will Only Hurt a Little - 4 Stars - So so good. Busy has had a long and varying career and I’m glad she decided to share her stories.
Heaven - 2.5 Stars - Definitely not my favorite read.
DNF:
Black Girls Must Die Exhausted - Jayne Allen - I wanted to love this book. I really really did but mostly it just bored me. The story moved nowhere in like 100 pages.
Hazel and Holly - Sara C Schnider - The blurb said it would be an excellent adventure, the book was very slow to prove this so I gave up.
The Umbrella Academy, Vol. 1: The Apocalypse Suite - Gerard Way - Graphic novels are not my thing. I try every now and then but I never learn.
Girls With Sharp Sticks - Suzanne Young - I should also accept that I don’t for dystopian books.
