My Grandma's A Ninja
My Grandma's a Ninja - Todd Tarpley,Danny Chatzikonstantinou

Even though I normally don't review picture books, when I saw the title My Grandma's A Ninja, I just knew I had to read it. I mean, Ninja Grannies. Do I need to say more?

It was a cute picture book with a story as far as those stories in picture books go. I haven't tried the book on young children but I think they would have liked it. Only thing I'm not completely sure of is, would they know what a ninja is at that age...

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Follow my travels as I visit the world via books (since I have neither the money nor the time to do it in real life). It's not meant as a challenge (for my) but I'm just curious to see how many places I visit whilst reading. So I keep track of them and update the maps every ten books. Prepare and get ready for the next ten stops...

Thanks to the new Buzz Books I've got three books this time that I can't map at all. The Buzz Books for obvious reasons as they are hardly 'real' books. My Grandma's A Ninja is a picture book that didn't really gave any information as to where it was taking place either.

This leaves seven books, 3 countries and 2 continents. Not bad, not bad at all...

Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph brought me to Brittany, that ironically is a part of France nowadays. The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Time Traveller showed England in a parallel universe, while The Accidental Highwayman portrayed 18th century Britain. Danny Dirks and the Heir of Pendragon took me to the other site of the world, Washington state (US), The Room to San Francisco (California, US) and Broken Skies is set in some post-apocalyptic America.
