Blood Memory, Book One by Perrin Briar
Blood Memory: Season One, Episode One (Episode One) - Perrin Briar

Blood Memory, Book One by Perrin Briar is a zombie book. I gave it four stars.

Haven's crew find a man floating half-dead at sea. After they examine him for bites Rachel says: “Hello Jordan Grant. Welcome to Haven, the safest place on Earth.” He was unconscious and they took care of him for three days before he came to. He had no recent memory. He has lost memories of the past six years and doesn't know what had happened.

I received a complimentary Kindle copy from the author. That did not change my opinion for this review.

ARC Review: Juvenile
Juvenile (Resistance Book 1) - Perrin Br... Juvenile (Resistance Book 1) - Perrin Briar

I received an ARC to give an honest review.

I have sat here and tried to write this review without giving anything way only to delete and rewrite multiple times.

We are introduced to Dana who is troubled teen. When she finds herself in the middle of an apocalypse she will stop at nothing to save her sister Max.
She ends up befriending a boy named Hugo, she doesn't believe he will be able to survive because of his weight and his loudness but it seems he may surprise her.
Hugo decides that he is going to hang with Dana and survive with her and help her find her sister which in this new world it seems a majority of people will only be looking out for themselves.
I will say this. There was one scene where I sat there with my mouth opened going oh wow the author went there with that one part. I kind of giggled a bit I will be truthful.
If you enjoy zombie books check this out. Is there gore of course you have to have it in zombie books.

ARC Review: Sink: Underworld Ascending
Sink: Underworld Ascending - Perrin Bria... Sink: Underworld Ascending - Perrin Briar

I received this ARC to give an honest review.

This is the last book in this series. I can honestly say that it has not being boring at all, plenty of action through out it all.

So we pick up right where we left off from the previous book. The family has gone through another passage and they are hoping it is the way home. Though it seems that what they really found is a place called Crossroads. This Crossroads leads to other passages and one in particular called Hell's Gate. It seems this could be the way home but will the family be able to pass through? Also people from their past will play a huge part which will come in handy when trying to stop the Cursed Ones from doing whatever they have planned.

I am sad this series is coming to an end as I wanted more worlds but it was a good series. The characters were well developed and even when faced with death they still survived and overcame it all. I do wonder how you would feel after having such amazing adventures then learning how to go back to your normal life.

Though one thing I would like to know is how long were they underground? When I finished the book they made it seemed like it was just not very long.

ARC Review: Sink: Once Upon a Time
Sink: Once Upon A Time - Perrin Briar

I received an ARC to give an honest review.

Now the family finds themselves in another part of this mysterious world via the passage they went through. They come across a monster that is determined to eat them, and a town that is from the world above. The town hasn't changed too much since when it was sucked down but there are new things happening within the town. We learn there is an inventor living within the town which the family is curious about. It seems this inventor has a unique way of coming up with ideas.

Now the family is determined to find the passage that they know is within this world, though the royal family has no clue where it is. Brian and his family decide to help rid this town of this monster that terrorizes them only what seems to happen is one a huge secret comes to light and second there is a lot of action involved. The cloak figure shows up yet again and still is a mystery on who this is person is. I have a feeling I might know who it is, but I am sure I am far from being right.

From the beginning of the book you pulled in. The way the author describes the lake to what is in the cave you are left wondering will the family's luck finally run out. I will love how all the passages connect in some way and the characters are well written.

If you haven't been reading this series I highly suggest you do it now. Not only are the covers AMAZING but the story line is pretty darn good!

Review: Z-Minus 5
Z-Minus V (Volume 5) - Perrin Briar
I received this book to give an honest review.

So this book was just as good as the book before it. Now we know the virus is out but can we get a cure in time to save thousands of people. In book 5 we are given new characters and we see how Archie a computer can possibly come up with a cure if given time. Everything is literally a race against time, which is something that is not enough of.
So this book is more about the research facility and how a group is determined to get the cure made no matter what comes their way.  We learn a bit about how Archie the computer system works and could be very useful for everyone in the future.
There is plenty of action and I really liked how we have soldiers that even though they are not 100 percent they are still willing to give their all to save not only themselves but the scientists as well.
There was a part that I almost started hating Susan because of the choice she was going to make but yet once again I was surprised that she changed her mind.
I do hope we learn how this virus came about maybe in book 6 if we are lucky!
If you like action and zombies I say get this book.
