PRETEND IT'S LOVE
Behind the Bar #2
Stefanie London
Entangled Lovestruck

Bar manager Paul Chapman is sick of his family’s traditional ideals. Marriage, babies, and a white picket fence? Not his gig. But now that his ‘golden child’ big brother is tying the knot, Paul’s screwed. His ex will be there…and she’s having his cousin’s baby. Unless he wants to show up to the wedding alone and face his family’s scrutiny, he needs a girl on his arm. Now.

Cocktail specialist Libby Harris has spent her life earning the nickname Little Miss Perfect, all to win the love of her wealthy, controlling father. But she deviated from his plan, and now her business is on shaky ground. If it fails, she might as well kiss his respect-and her dream-good-bye. Her only hope? Convince the hottest bar in town to take on her product.

Luckily for her, the owner’s brother is sexy as sin and in need of a perfect girlfriend…

Pretend It's Love (Behind the Bar)Pretend It's Love by Stefanie London
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Behind The Bar series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this great series in the order intended.

Paul & Libby meet in such a fun way in front of the bar where he works. He is the hero of the story right from the get go. Then they decide to enter into a fake relationship to fool his family for the upcoming wedding of Paul's brother.

Libby, on the other hand, needs his brother's approval. Paul is the answer to several prayers. Assuming they can pull this off. With the sparks flying between them it is only a matter of time. Pretend can only last so long.

Really fun and exciting read! I enjoyed all the joking and sexy times. This story kept me on my toes and this series is just getting better and better. I can hope we will get to see what's next.

A voracious reader, USA Today Bestselling author, Stefanie London has dreamed of being an author her whole life. After sneaking several English Lit subjects into her very practical Business degree, she got a job in corporate communications. But it wasn't long before she turned to romance fiction. She recently left her hometown of Melbourne to start a new adventure in Toronto and now spends her days writing contemporary romances with humour, heat and heart.

Pretend You're Mine: A Small Town Love Story - Lucy Score
27/04/2015

I discover the author recently and i must say this wont be the last book i will read from her. I really liked this one. I enjoy the tone of the author writing and from my side there was never a dull either a boring moment. I loved as well the small town romance style the book had too.

I liked Luke and Harper. I really did enjoy their journey and how the ended up together. Luke was the male character i can exactly write paragraphs and paragraphs about him how i loved hating him and all because seriously he really really was a pain in the ass and totally jackass and yes in the end he did took him kinda a little bit more to realize his feelings towards Harper but in the end does we all take a little bit of time to admit the truth for our feelings making mistakes in progress too?

Cant wait to read more from the author

Pretend It's Love
Pretend It's Love - Stefanie London Pretend It's Love - Stefanie London I loved the first story from Stefanie London but this story was even better.
Can a fake relationship turn into a real one or are they both to scared to let their failed history go?

Pretend It's Love
Pretend It's Love - Stefanie London Pretend It's Love - Stefanie London There was no pretending on my part. Pretend It's Love is a delightful read. It's sweet, enthralling, guilty pleasure fun. For me it was love at first sight. Stefanie London is new on my radar of writers, but I am so glad to finally discover her. She took a story that could have come across cheesy and forced and created a masterwork of dramedy. Paul and Libby go into the charade trying to please others and stumble into an unexpected love. I received an ARC of Pretend it's Love in exchange for an honest review. Will be reading more of Stefanie London 's books.
