Meet Riana Kadyrova, a three-year old figure skater from Russia
Riana Kadyrova started figure skating only at the age of 2 with her mother, Reseda Kadyrova as her coach. Her older sister, Yasmina is also a figure skater as well. She debuted in figure skating championships at the age of 2.5 years with her first program, Barynya.
She trains with an older group of skaters from ages 9-11 who are also being coached by her mother. Riana describes her mother as a strict mentor, “My mother is a coach and I am a ‘sportswoman’!”, she states.
Rianna has not only won the hearts of people in her own country but she has also won the hearts of audiences in Italy and Estonia as well.
