"Seasons of Love" by Andrea Boeshaar

My Thoughts....

This author gave the readers three well written interesting Christian short stories of real life.
These are three anthologies...with the first being: An Apple a Day...How will a health food store owner Talia Fountain deal with Dr. Brian Coridan as he vacations in Blossom Lake, Wisconsin? In the next story...September Sonata.... What will happen as Krissy and Blaine's marriage is put to the test after he is recovering from a fire accident, the twins have left for college in another state and then Krissy is having to deal with a new 'Christian school principal that is showing interest in her?' Then last we have the last one...Let It Snow...can Shari Kretlow and Dr. Brenan Sheppard be brought back together after a past romance and be resurrected in a second chance? All of these questions and more will be answered as you read through 'Season's of Love.' I think my favorite one was 'September Sonata' because I felt that a lots of women have dealt with similar situations as this.

I did found all three short stories were a good reads presenting 'love and faith.' Would I recommend? If you are into a good Christian read...these would be definitely recommended. .

What I liked about this novel...

This was indeed a wonderful Christian Amish Fiction read that will hold your attention till the very end. I loved how the characters [mainly... Miriam, Been, Lena and Josiah] to name a few were so well developed, defined, portrayed and believable giving the reader one remarkable read. I loved seeing how even through there were many up and downs in this read that in the end 'God' really showed just that He was their when needed the most.' Truly for many of the people of Willow Ridge will have their faith tested and in the end will they be able to rise above it and rebuild what they once had? To get the answer to that question...and more you will have to pick up this good read to see how it will be presented to so well to the readers. I loved how this author was able to bring out the forgiveness as the reader will see as one reads through the novel. As I read through this novel I was able to see these people's every day 'trials, disappointments and their joys.' To see this Christian community come together to help each other was not only beautiful but well done which definitely gives the 'true meaning of Christmas.' I don't want to fail to mention that this author will included some wonderful mouth watering recipes shared at the end of the novel.

I felt that "The Christmas Cradle" ...[The Season of the Heart Book 6] was indeed a wonderful Christmas story and would recommend to all as a good read.

Summer Champagne
Summer Champagne (Seasons of Love) (Volume 4) - Jennifer Gracen

Book Description....

"In AUTUMN GETAWAY, Book One of the Seasons of Love series, Lydia connected with charming, sensitive Sam, and took a chance on someone new. Then, in WINTER HOPES, Book Two of the series, Sam and Lydia explored the excitement of their blossoming romance. Even though their long distance relationship wasn’t easy, in each other they found renewed hope, overcoming past losses to learn to trust and love again. In SPRING SHADOWS, Book Three of the series, author Jennifer Gracen brings Lydia and Sam one step closer to lasting happiness. But then romance and roses turn to tears as unexpected tragedy threatens to tear them apart.

In SUMMER CHAMPAGNE, the final book of the Seasons of Love series, Lydia and Sam face their challenges shoulder to shoulder, but the deep commitment they've worked so hard to build brings the fear of equally serious loss. SUMMER CHAMPAGNE takes the genuine emotions you've come to expect from the Seasons of Love and presses them up against the harsh reality of life in a genre-defining tale of love, healing, and hope for the future that will have you toasting the lovely couple with your own glass of champagne."

What I enjoyed from this novel.....

This was a part one ...'In Autumn Getaway and part two...'In Summer Champagne' put together in one novel that was absolutely a wonderful amazing romantic that was just a wow of a read. Having these two reads put together really made this one good well written read and once you start reading the reader will find it very hard to put down until the end. This author's series of Lydia and Sam was simply off the chart being so well thought out and presented to the reader getting such a complete well told story. I will even say I really was sad to see this series end. Oh well, good things can come at the end and indeed this was GOOD ending! This author really knows how to get the reader pulled into the story with all of the emotions, with the drama of it all (Lydia's ex husband and her parents), and oh yes the beautiful sweet and sexy romance of these two.... Lydia and Sam. I found the main characters as well as the secondary ones were all so well developed, defined, portrayed and oh so believable which really helped to give the reader a wonderful well told story. So, this is the end for this series...where we find Lydia and Sam to have gone through many ups and downs that will be presented in this read from their friendship and love. You the reader will get a interesting romantic read seeing just how these two weathered it all out but to have it all brought out to you from this author the reader will have to pick up the read "Summer Champagne" to see for yourself how this story will all come out in the end. Would I recommend this series? YES all four of them!
