BLURB

Ashford Westinghouse is handsome, well built, and successful. He certainly doesn’t see himself as lonely. He often uses one night stands as a coping mechanism to help him blot out the pain of losing the only woman he’s ever loved. She left him without a hint as to why and he has no desire to ever let his heart get destroyed like that again.

Isabella Alfieri is beautiful, independent and successful in her own right. Her world is almost perfect, but she still can’t seem to forget the man she loved and left seven years ago. And she’ll never forget the reason she had to go. She’s kept her secret all this time. Aside from her family, there’s only one other person that knows her secret and she would never tell a soul.

What will happen when fate intervenes and puts her on the flight he’s co-piloting? The flight that sets them on course for their worlds to come crashing back together after all this time.

**Crash Into Me is a full-length, standalone romance with a HEA, no cliffhanger and no cheating.**

Revival
Broken Bastard (Broken Series Book 1) - A.L. Simpson

Tyler starts out about to get everything he always wanted.  He is in line to inherit the company, so he can make it better.  He has a boyfriend.  All seems really good.

Then his father dies, and the truth comes out.  So much goes wrong.  He loses everything.  He meets Bailey as he hits the bottom.  Bailey wants to help him learn to live again.  Friendship is welcome, but maybe it can be more?

This story has so much going on.  Many phases of the main characters life.  A true story of support, friendship, and how to persevere when it all goes wrong.  I was impressed with how the author handled some very awful subjects.  Has a good pace and prepare for mild violence.  Great start for the Broken series.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Zombie Bigfoot Review
Zombie Bigfoot (Creature Quest Series Book 1) - Nick Sullivan

Zombie Bigfoot took a while to get going, but once it did it was quite the read. This sets out to be Syfy level campy trash (not a bad thing!), and it succeeds with wild abandon. From the ridiculous characters like the hunter to the multitudes of pulpy kills it aims to please the low-budget movie aficionado. This takes a certain amount of skill, as its way too easy to fail horribly at producing something horribly good. Nick Sullivan does a great job, especially considering this is his début work.

As I said, Zombie Bigfoot was a bit of a slow burn in the beginning. I actually put the book down a few times and read stuff that was more immediately interesting. However, I kept coming back to it, and eventually, it paid off. By the end of the book, I was completely into it and rooting for Brighteyes and… well, Brighteyes. Though Littlefoot does make an impression of his own with one particular scene that was pure epicness.

Sullivan’s take on the zombie virus isn’t exactly new but it’s so rarely done that it’s still interesting to read. In Zombie Bigfoot just because you’re undead doesn’t mean you’re stupid. You’re filled with rage and think other members of your species (and others) look tasty, but you’re definitely not stupid.

The dialogue is good, the pacing is decent, and the action is delivered in spades. If you like overly dramatic gory kills (and would you be looking at this book review if you weren’t interested in that type of thing?), then Zombie Bigfoot will make you go all squishy inside.

One of the last things (literally) that impressed me was the epilogue(s) of Zombie Bigfoot. Normally I absolutely hate them, but Nick Sullivan did the perfect ones. The first one cracked me up and the second made me excited to see what happens in the next book.

Overall, Zombie Bigfoot was an enjoyable read that gave me just enough violence, action, and over-the-top drama to make me go all warm and fuzzy inside.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the author for review consideration.

A SEAL's Proposal (Sexy Seal Novella Series Book 1) - Tawny Weber

This book can be read as a standalone novel.  If reading through a series, this is book #1 for Sexy SEAL's, #6.4 for Uniformly Hot SEALs.  I always recommend reading in order for further understanding and enjoyment.

Sam & Bryanna want a future together. They have made promises to one another, but Sam has also made another promise. They must find common ground to see if it can work. Short story but the feelings are conveyed well. You can tell these are young kids in love and it makes for a quick read.

This is a sexy, but just short & sweet story that made me feel good.  I loved the characters and rooted for them from the start.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Romantic suspense

A motorcycle crash forces Skyler Smith into Laney Pearson’s hospital, barely clinging to life… As a trauma nurse, Laney works with surgeon Josh Stone to bring Skyler back from the brink of death and toward recovery. But what initially looks like nothing more than a freak accident may turn out to be much more dangerous—and maybe even deadly. In the years they’ve worked together, Laney has never given Josh the time of day… She thinks he’s nothing more than a pompous doctor looking for another notch to add to his belt. But caring for Skyler brings the pair closer, and Laney lets down her guard, allowing them the chance to find happiness together in the midst of so much destruction. But someone doesn’t want them to be happy. Someone wants Laney gone. Threats might derail their love before it really starts… As the couple tries to build their budding relationship, Laney begins to receive menacing messages. And when she and Josh learn that Skyler’s accident is anything but unintentional, they fight to balance finding the would-be killer with keeping keep Laney safe from her stalker. But each wild turn takes them further away from the truth…and each other. Can Laney and Josh discover who is behind the violent acts, or is each guess they make nothing more than a shot in the dark? Some accidents aren’t accidental…
My Review
The book started out full of mystery from the very beginning, with Skyler on his bike and getting hurt. I really liked Skyler and his mom a lot. I really felted bad for all he went through in this book. It held my attention because I wanted to find out if he would survive and if he did would he be his normal health self. I also wanted to know if his accident was really just that or if it wasn't an accident at all. And if someone was trying to kill him then for what reason. Very surprising outcome.
I really loved Laney and Josh a whole lot. Josh did drive me crazy because he wanted to do everything for Laney. Such as ordering her food for example, as well as her drinks, and so much more. Once Laney told him it was driving her nuts, he did try to tone it back.
Laney also has a stalker, that is very crazy that's for sure. The book did end in a cliffhanger, and somethings were tied up but other things might or might not have been tied up.
There is another book coming out very soon, and I really can't wait to find out what's going to happen next. So I will definitely be reading it, that's for sure.

JG Sumner is a Registered Nurse who went rogue. As good as she was at starting IV's, she enjoys writing the down the stories in her head even more. Most of the time the characters won't stop pestering her until she has them down on paper. JG can often be found with a glass of red wine or prosecco in front of her computer. When she's not creating, she enjoys the outdoors hiking, bike riding, snowboarding, and camping. JG has a very dry sense of humor, and should never be taken too seriously. She loves to hear from her fans, and even those who aren't and would love to hear your opinion on her books. JG writes romantic suspense/thrillers including: A Shot in the Dark, Into the Light, The Surrender Trilogy including Surrender, Shattered, and Saved which will be available through Limitless Publishing soon.
