MY REVIEWS

Omega’s choose their mates and Lily Chose Jensgar, but the general refused her, forcing her to leave the pack she adopted. Unable to stand the pitying glances and hushed comments, she flees to the forest to live as a wolf. She’s shocked when Jensgar comes for her and slowly convinces her to trust him again, but the woods holds secrets and danger and when Jengar’s life is threatened Lily makes the ultimate sacrifice.

This romance is an emotional and quite turbulent read with solid, captivating characters that draws readers in and refuses to let go. The poignant romance between Jensgar and Lily is sweet and full of surprises that changes everything and builds thrilling suspense throughout the story. This fast paced story is non-stop excitement and feelings with stunning twists and is further enhanced by the appearance of gods and a curse. While on the short side, this romance captures the heart, causes a few tears and is a full story in the Black Ridge Wolf Pack.

Marcus and Bain both love Katrina, Katrina loves them both, but a blood oath and an ex that doesn’t want to let go stand in their way of happily ever after.

This Black Ridge Wolf Pack romance is kind of split in to two parts with both parts being full of thrills, unexpected twists and romance. The characters are strong, compelling and grab readers’ attentions right from the start. The romance is sweet and full of sizzling chemistry but the relationship is hampered by the Goddess Net who does something terrible to remove the competition in order to keep Bain, so in the first part of the story, the suspense builds around Katrina and Net being force to get along to survive and Net is put on trial. The second part of the story has the suspense building throughout a journey through a dangerous quest to end to the blood oath that Marcus made as a child. The fast paced plot keeps readers glued to the pages with lots of twists and excitement as secrets are revealed and the triad’s happiness is hampered by the whims of the gods.

Even though her job with the Fawn Hollow Township police keeps her busy, Officer Kristin Greene has always felt that something was missing from her life. While investigation a homicide where a young woman’s throat was brutally ripped out, she’s thrown into a world she never knew existed and when Julian and Alexander crash into her life, she finds herself being pulled into a love triangle that been going on longer than she’s been alive.

The characters are quite strong, forceful and easily grab the readers’ attention from the get go and the chemistry that Kristin feels for both Julian and Alex sizzles with lots of heat that readers can practically feel singeing the pages but the love triangle relationship is quite complicated and messy which has lots of turbulent emotions flowing from the pages along with all the turmoil from other aspects of the book, like the discovery of the paranormal, the learning of a past Kirstin had new clue of and the investigation of a serial killer that has Kirstin in his sights.

The author has created a fascinating vampire world with her unique elements that make for refreshing change in this fast paced, engaging and suspenseful story. This story also flip flops between pov which can be a bit annoying but provides insight that proves essential to the characters and their emotions throughout this complex romance. The plot thickens and the intrigue builds with twists and turns that keeps the readers glued to the pages and wanting to know more, please be prepared for the HFN as this story continues.

This short story needs to be read after the first book and while is quite short it provides additional and pivotal information that gives insight into the whole Calista / Kristen life and the romance with Julian and Alexander which help understand her character better and why she feels the way she does about both of the men while ensuring that readers can fully understand and enjoy the following books.

Kristin is happier than she’s been in a long time and her new status in life has her solving crimes faster and better than she ever could before. Although, her life with Alex is having a bit of trouble due to her reluctance to complete the transition. Then her two worlds collide when Alex goes missing and she’s having to deal with the emotions that are threatening to overwhelm her. Her house is filling up with people who want to help her, a strawberry blond woman appears at all the wrong times and Trent and Gabe have entered the picture to help with the search.

Kirsten’s life has become even more complicated with some stunning twists and turns that readers certainly don’t see coming. Secrets are revealed, bad guys seem to be abundant and while Alex missing, the other guys in her life seem determine to help her in a way that will either prove to be a great thing or prove to destroy her life with Alex. Emotions run high and are quite turbulent throughout this story and readers can’t help be become caught up in all the turmoil. This series definitely has to read in sequence to get the full understanding of what’s happening and to get the most enjoyment, but one thing is for certain, this fast paced plot never has a dull moment as the passions and chemistry explode and the danger escalates throughout this exhilarating and life altering story.

The romance between Jake and Nicki is sweet and sizzles with chemistry but this relationship is quite complicated due to their station in life. This keeps the emotions turbulent throughout the story and readers can’t help but sympathize and be a little enraged at the unfairness of it all of course, Jake’s forced-upon him fiancée adds to the turmoil as well and readers are faced with wishing they slap that person upside the head.

The fast placed plot is full of suspense and excitement as Nicki’s step father get her family in trouble with some gangster were-bears which has Nicki going through an elaborate deception in order to pay them off. The situation is further complicated by Jake’s determination to get to know Nicki and Nicki’s guilt at deceiving everyone. Unexpected twists, betrayals, gambling debts, Arcane Hunters and a conspiracy keeps readers glued to the pages of this exhilarating read.

Were-Cougar princess, Jade Lamarche escapes to neutral territory in order to avoid a forced, loveless marriage to a man she detests, but discovers that the neutral territory is dangerous country and female cats are rare and highly sought after. The fast paced plot keeps readers riveted to the pages with lots of high risk adrenaline excitement and thrilling suspense as Luke and Jade try to determine who they can trust and stunning twists that show that sometimes new over old is the best way to go. Betrayals and a maniacal enemy with a complex manipulative plan that has been going on longer that anyone could possibly believe ensures that there is never a dull moment to be found in this riveting romance.

Addison Carmichael has been a storyteller since she was a young girl. Even then every tale she imagined had a romantic element that grabbed front and center. Besides reading and writing (blissful addictions), Addison loves the mountains and ocean, and enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding and star gazing. She also bakes, knits and sews, which she never has enough time for. She attempted mastering several musical instruments, singing, painting, photography, dancing and archery, but always returned to writing and storytelling as the “one true love” of her life.
