I liked it as much as the others. 

It's a solid series.

And I liked the twist with the new entity.

This was short, it was a lot of the usual.

The story around the demon was rather boring.

It felt a lot of "meh".

I skimmed in the end.

I am a bit sad to see such an interesting concept go stale...

Not really much to say about this instalment of the Spectr series except that I totally enjoyed it.  There was some character grown from both Caleb and John and I really liked how John's opinion and feelings towards Gray are changing and growing.  Caleb remains a lot of fun and I really enjoy the 'inside' interactions between him and Gray.  

Maybe it was good to have some time gap between the last one and this most recent one.

So the story felt new and interesting, although it is not so much different from the others in the series.

Caleb/Gray and John are in an established relationship for some time now and the murder mystery was in focus.

It was a very enjoyable and fast paced read with a solid plot.
