Ebook Giveaway of Fanya in the Underworld by Jordan Elizabeth
Fanya in the Underworld - Jordan Elizabeth Mierek,Aaron Siddall

Synopsis

In an Alaska owned by Tsarist Russia, steamtech is melded with spirit magic to create a mighty machine. The elements are plentiful, but the Higher World crumbles and the local Inuit people are consumed.

When their father dies, the council denies Fanya her inheritance and sells her sister into slavery at the behest of the mysterious Zachary Finley. Fanya's quest to protect her sister and regain what's rightfully hers leads her from the Underworld of Stalgorod to the untamed wilds of greater Alaska.

It isn’t just Zachary Finley who wants Fanya to suffer. Frost Witches and Sea Hags have a thirst for her, and Saints have decided she’s perfect to become their tool.

Magic flows through Fanya and it is ready for her to battle against industry for the fate of enslaved souls.

Sunday Street Team Review | Timekeeper by Tara Sim
Timekeeper - Tara Sim

The Sunday Street Team is a group of bloggers led by the marvelous Nori @ ReadWriteLove28 who aim to bring well-deserved attention to new and upcoming books and their authors.

This month's post is featuring Tara Sim and her steampunk debut novel, Timekeeper.

I would recommend Timekeeper to fans of historical fiction and steampunk, especially if you are looking for a new take on the genre. I would also recommend Danny's story to anyone looking for a diverse novel that does not shy away from the tough questions. Even though the middle was a little bit slow, anyone who enjoys a good steampunk will enjoy Timekeeper.

If you want to hear more of my thoughts about the book and enter in the giveaway, then click on the original link.

Breath of Earth Is a Fantasy Adventure of Geological Proportions
Breath of Earth - Beth Cato

Beth Cato really has a skill with furious pacing, and she's gotten even better with her latest novel. The alt-history setting is novel, which I appreciate, because there's only so many times the Axis powers can win the war. Well, or that's not true -- I like a United States of Japan -- which is what we have in this novel, but it's not because the US conquered Japan or vice versa.

Anyway, my latest review at B&N SciFi & Fantasy

Such an enjoyable book, especially if you like libraries, Sherlock Holmes, and steampunk. My latest at B&N Scifi.
