Stepbrother Catfish - Izzy Sweet My goodness..the drama. It's like watching a soap opera. I feel like I just got off from a roller coaster. The Hero was a former manwhore before he's involved with the Heroine. And I'm not judging that. But the heroine annoyed the crap out of me. Always running from the Hero after she gives in a little too fast, IMO. Rinse, repeat. I even skimming the sex scenes because I'm just bored with it. The hero needs to grovel really bad. And I don't see that. I'm a bit disappointed because I kind of liked the story.

I've always had a thing for a man in a suit but make it a Military man and my panties disappear. Jackson and Lily kept my attention and I couldn't even sleep till I finished this book,. I suppose it happens form time to time. I love when it happen, however now another Jen McLaughlin book ASAP!

My first book by this author, was going absolutely blind, all my guesses were by the title of this book. Sometimes my rating doesn't make any sense, I would sing dithyrambs on how good the plot was or it can be the world's most precious masterpiece, but I can give it only 3 stars or I can scold the book and make the list of it's flaws and still give it all 5 stars. I am judging books mostly (like 90%) by the emotions I felt while reading it. This book was so much wrong in so many ways, but I couldn't put this down. I felt so much while reading it, I know that stories are touching us when we can actually relate to what we are reading. Sometimes it is the character that behaves so much like we are, sometimes it is the situation that had happened in our life and reading about it makes you re-live it again, good or bad, it makes you feel and that's exactly what happened to me. I don't care what flaws it has, I am being very biased here. Sometimes a person can appear in your life and inexplicably become the center of your world. I did love and it took me 4 years to untie this knot, we did not end up together, but after 2 more years I can say I did get my 'Happy ending" after all and I trust that everything happens for a reason.
