Non mi aspettavo un capolavoro visto la lunghezza ma un racconto un minimo interessante si. Tutto si riduce a scenette scollegate tra di loro, come se lo scrittore avesse preso e messo insieme bozze di un possibile romanzo mai pubblicato, la scelta di inserire un MC disabile poi risulta ridicola in quanto in nessun modo viene affrontata la sua disabilità o quest'ultima gli causa problemi o disagi, se non ci venisse detto che il protagonista è sordo neanche ce ne saremo accorti e questo a mio avviso è un grosso problema. Il finale del racconto è fin troppo aperto e senza senso, come se volesse introdurre un sequel mai però pubblicato sul web. Unico pregio è la parte erotica scritta decentemente e che intrattengono almeno un pochetto il lettore. Un racconto insomma inutile e poco interessante che non regala nulla e che si dimentica tre secondi dopo. L'idea poteva essere carina e interessante se sviluppata bene in un romanzo permettendo di mostrare un amore complicato, dolce e sensuale purtroppo tutto è stato rovinato completamente da scelte no sense e momenti morti e inutili. A questo punto avrei preferito un PWP puramente erotico e stuzzicante, tutto purchè una non storia. Sconsigliato!

Heated Sweets - A.M. Willard It's a very emotional read but I loved it anyway. Story is amazing and I already love all the characters from previous books.
Frankie has struggled all her life. She doesn't think that she can give anyone his happy ending. So when ever someone gets to close she runs. That's what happened with Brody. They have a long, sometimes happy and sometimes painful past. But they can never return to the way they were. Frankie has moved on with her life and now Brody is just a friend...
Evan on the other hand is someone she can see having a future with. Her life isn't easy and she just doesn't want to end up hurting anyone. Not to mention that Evan has a son and if she did give their relationship a try and it didn't work then she'd be hurting both father & son. Although she wants happiness for herself but she can't be selfish...
Maybe if she opens her heart things might go her way. After all Evan is perfect for her and it's high time that she stopped running.
This book is a tear jerker, at least it was for me. I find Frankie's story very sad, good this that it ended happily or I might have hated it. ;) In any case, I enjoyed reading it and I think anyone who likes chick-lit will enjoy this book. The friendship which Frankie has with Zara, Natasha, and Morgan is just as strong as can be. I loved how they are always there for each other. It's very refreshing to read about bonds like that. I think how story focuses on 'friendship' is the best thins about this series.
Love is important but friendship matters too...

Amelia opens a cupcake food truck after her divorce. Her ex is not happy about it. A few weeks after her opening a body is discovered in the bushes at Food Truck Alley. The police question everyone and make an arrest but Amelia does not believe they have the right person. She does a little investigation on her own.

This is a good set up for this series. The main characters are introduced. I like Amelia and her kids, Meg and Adam. They are a strong family unit. Her ex, John, is a jerk but we do need one of those to roll our eyes at and to cheer Amelia on to continue her food truck. I like the secondary characters. I cannot wait to find out Lila's, her employee, story. I'll bet it's a doozy as is Lila. I hope to see more of Mrs. Vega and her family in future books. They and Amelia watch out for each other. I liked her best friend Catherine. This is going to be a good cast of characters and we'll see if Lila is right about the detective.

The story was quick and light. The mystery was believable. I didn't solve to almost the end. The explanation was very welcome.

I look forward to more of this series.

Sugary Sweets - A.M. Willard 4.5 Stars
This is sweet book about four friends and their love lives. The story continues from book one. We get a look into the lives of all four friends. But mostly this one is the story of Zara, Hatcher, and their new life. They've both gotten married, moved to suburbs and expecting a baby. All in all life is changing quite a for them. Zara is having difficulty dealing with all these changes and in addition to this it seems that her best friend is keeping secrets. She hate secrets so it's up to her to find out what is going on here... But will she likes what she finds or not is another question.

HAtcher is trying his best to make Zara happy. To help her find her feet and get settled in new life together. They are perfect for each other. On one hand their life is amazing but then there are all these fears which keep them second guessing. Hatcher is amazing to her and no matter what they are going to live happily ever after. Now only if all her friends can marry the loves of their lives then everything will be absolutely fantastic.

Again in the end we see the glimpse of what's coming next and I can't wait to read more about these amazing characters. I loved this book!

Frosted Sweets - A.M. Willard Wow, this is one sweet romantic story. I loved it. It's a must read contemporary romance novel. Morgan is quirky, funny, clumsy, and romantic woman. She owns a bakery and loves to bake. Unfortunately, she is allergic to chocolate. Which makes life a little difficult for her since she can't taste her own chocolate treats. Her bakery is famous among the people of her town. Who doesn't love sweets.

Anyhow life is kind of in a rut for her these days. Her fiance is cheating on her and now she must break off the engagement so near her wedding. This makes her mother angry with her but she will have to deal with it.Oddly enough she is more annoyed than heart-broken.

So it is at this stage in her life when she meets Jayden. And now she can't get him out of her mind. He is everything she dreams in a guy. He likes her baking, he likes her, and most importantly her friends like him. In short he is a perfect man. But is she ready to date again? Oh, and let's not forget Nick, another perfect guy who asks her out. Right now it is very difficult for her to decide what or rather who she wants in her life. May be both....

The story revolves around Morgan and her friends. It is a heart-warming romance, definitely worth reading. I quite enjoyed it and now I can't wait for the next book in this tasty series.
