This weeks question is:
What are your favorite Urban Fantasy books?
Hailey Edwards has become a favorite author with her amazing Urban Fantasy books. I really adored her Black Dog, Gemini, & Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy, which is her newest series.
Amanda Carlson jumped on the Urban Fantasy scene with Jessica McClain series. I read a few, but haven’t finished the series yet, but that’s not the series I want to share. I found her Phoebe Meadows series mind-blowing & action-packed. Plus it’s full of mythology, which I just love.
Of course I can’t tell you how much I love Patrica Briggs, Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series. I’ve done rereads several times, but now for the first time I’m experience them in audiobook format. I have to say I love the audio. The books feel like the fist time and that is superb.
I also LOVE Ilona Andrews, the Kate Daniels and Innkeeper Chronicles series. I’ve read both series several times now and I’m currently doing the audiobooks for Kate Daniels. I plan to pick up the Innkeeper Chronicles in audio soon. Their work is Amazing and it always feels like the first time reading, which is marvelous.
Last, Nalini Singh‘s Psy-Changeling series. It’s a remarkable series to read. I also like her Guild Hunter series, but her Psy-Changeling is my favorite.
Well those are my picks. What are your favorite Urban Fantasy’s?

This weeks question is:
Who are some authors you have been meaning to read?
Well lets see. I’ve got to scroll through my To Read Shelf on Goodreads for this one. I can’t remember and I don’t keep a notes page with authors or books I want to read anymore, now that we have the lovely Goodreads to help use book lovers out ^_^.
First up is Sherrilyn Kenyon. Yes, I have’t tried her yet and everyone and I mean everyone says to give her Dark-Hunterverse series a go. With 28 books and more in the series, it’s a little daunting and intimidating, but I did pick up on our Library Book Sale day book one Fantasy Lover, so I have no excuse to try her out now.
Another author on my list is Dannika Dark with her Crossbreads series. I’ve heard great things about the series and I actually own books 1 & 2 in eBook, so their is no excess to start the series since I own the first two.
That’s a few of the authors I want to try out.
So, how about you? What authors are on your list?
I’m a 35 outdoor sun loving reader living near San Fransisco. I’m a mother, wife, dog owner, animal, and book lover. I’m the owner, reviewer, and mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures. My favorite animals are horses & dogs. As for reading I love all things paranormal & urban fantasy. My favorite shifters are dragons!
Tell Me Something Tuesday: Cross Posting Reviews on Amazon brought to you by Rainy Day Ramblings
This week we are talking about cross posting reviews on Amazon, well for me I do cross post to Amazon. I also cross post on several other platforms like Kobo, Barnes & Nobles, Goodreads, Riffle, BookBub, BookLikes and my blog Angel’s Guilty Pleasures.
Now I don’t post my reviews to all those sites ASAP. I will take a day and go through my fold labeled Book Reviews I Need Post and post all those reviews to Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Novels, Riffle, and BookBub. Their are so may sites to share reviews on, taking a day to cross post them is the best option for me and less time consuming.
For my reviews they will first feature on Goodreads. I love the Goodreads site. Really love it!! I site down write up my review and then post it to Goodreads at the same time. So, my review will show up their well before it’s featured on my blog or any other site. If you want to see my reviews FIRST then Goodreads is the best place to follow or friend me.
Follow/Friend on Goodreads
Next, I’ll schedule on my calendar the day that my review will feature on the blog, sometimes it ends up being a month later. Ya, I know it’s a long time, but I also feature fun Discussion Posts, Food Posts, Tours, and so on. I don’t like to have to much on one day. I want to be able to comment back and I’m a full time mother/home maker, so I’ve got other things to do besides just blog. Once the post is live on my blog I will cross post that day to BookLikes. BookLikes is another type of blogging platform.
Follow on BookLikes
BookBub: I am just now working on cross post all my reviews to the site. I didn’t know until recently that you could post your review. I think it’s became a new feature or maybe it’s always been their, but now I’m working on putting up all my reviews to the site.
You can follow me on BookBub
Then we have all the retail sites and their are a lot of those. I only post to Amazon, B&N, and Kobo. Their is also GooglePlay, iBooks, and others. I’m not on those sites, so I don’t share their.
I almost forgot. The LIBRARY. Yes, the library’s websites, at lest most, have a way of sharing your reviews on books, audios, movies, etc… I will sometimes share their, but not regularly.
As you can see I try to get my reviews out their and share them almost everyplace I can. I like what I do. I LOVE supporting authors and as long as I love it, I will continue to support and share.
Owner/Review and mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures. However what I am not is a writer. I apologize now for the grammatical and punctuation errors I make, because I know I’m going to make them. I’m a mother, wife, dog owner, animal, and book lover. My favorite animals are horses. As for reading I love all things paranormal & urban fantasy. My favorite shifters are dragons!
