The Night Is For Hunting
The Night is For Hunting - John Marsden

This book is a bit slow at times, but still, looking back, quite a lot is happening as it becomes increasingly difficult to find food not just for themselves but also a couple of kids they have rescued, and then get lost.

The end is nearing, and it is clear from this book. One more to go!

Good Story and Characters
Owning the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord ... Owning the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord Book 4) - Ann Jacobs

Mara was a homicide detective . Long ago Mara had loved a vampire named Dante then one evening he came home to tell her he had killed a human and then the hunters got Dante. Nara had been called out to investigate the fourth killing of a woman killed by a vampire . Like the other victims she didn’t appear to have been sexually molested or even put up a fight. Also the victim was left with a white rose as had the other three victims and they were found on the beach in less than two weeks. One of Mara’s team- Ben- felt it was Louis Reynard who had been a serial killer going around the world killing woman on the full moon. Mara had found out by experience vampires have an ability to seduce humans without trying. Alexendre/Alex is a vampire also hunting Reynard but he knows that Reynard is the killer. Whereas Mara is leaning that way more and more. Alex has been hunting Reynard for two years. Alex and Mara meet and Decide to work together to get Reynard. But they also have a strong attraction.

This book was fast paced and was a quick read that I really liked. This is well written with a great plot. I liked how Mara awakened feelings in Alec he didn’t think he’d ever have. I liked that Alec was protective of Mara and knew Reynard had to die before they could have a future together. I just really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story. I recommend.

Possessing the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord Book 5) by Ann Jacobs
Possessing the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord, Book 5) - Ann Jacobs

As a powerful and loving Dom, Chad Lalanne is devoted to seeing to his sub’s needs but in order to fulfill those needs now that she’s a vampire, he has to add another vampire sub to their relationship in this riveting paranormal romance.

This story starts off with some red hot intimacy that not only brings in sizzling passion but poignant emotions as Chad thinks about what he must do to provide for Katie and the emotional turmoil continues to flow from the pages while the intimacy grows to scorching proportions including m/m/f scenes. The characters are strong, compelling and easily draw the readers into this well written, fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of turbulence and romance.

This story pack one heck of a heated punch and I was glued to the pages throughout but I feel that it was too short to do Chad, Katie and Philippe’s story justice.

Possessing the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord, Book 5)
Possessing the Night (Hunting the Dark Lord, Book 5) - Ann Jacobs I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review.
Possessing the Night by Ann Jacobs is book five in the 'Hunting the Dark Lord' series. This is about 7o page Novella.
I haven't read the other books yet so I am thinking that I should have before reading this one. I still enjoyed the story but I kept thinking was the previous book were we learned how Katie got turned to a Vampire.
Overall I enjoyed the book and was glad to have the chance to read and review it!

This is book four in the "Hunting the Dark Lord" Book series. I haven't read the first book so I thought this was a standalone book for me. Mara is on the hunt for a vampire killer that is on the loose and Alexandre is also on the hunt for the same Vampire. So they start trying to work together and they are also starting to 'play' together. This book didn't have as much Romance as I would like but overall a good book to read if you are liking Vampires.
