Waiting
Waiting For Nick (Silhouette Special Edition #1088-reprint) - Nora Roberts

This is book # 5 in The Stanislaskis: Those Wild Ukrainians series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and understanding - and to avoid spoilers - I recommend reading this great series in order.

Frederica AKA "Fred" is still waiting.  Waiting for Nick to see her as a grown up, as a woman.  She is tired and thinks it is time she takes matters into her own hands.

Nick met Fred's family as a teen.  He loves them and would do nothing to hurt them.  So these new feelings for Fred are not welcome.  He just cannot stop them.

I re-read this story at least once a year.  I decided it is high time I give it the review it deserves.  This series is amazing.  The family makes it so fun to read.  These characters are meant to be together and I love reading the way they fall toward one another.  Just another great book from a fabulous author!   I think everyone should read this series!!  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Taming Natasha (Stanislaskis Book 1)
Taming Natasha (Stanislaskis Book 1) - Nora Roberts Overall kind of meh. I thought Natasha's submissiveness didn't fit with her fierceness and Spencer's command/domination didn't match with his patience and understanding. I also didn't think his pursuit of her was all that well done, far too stalker-isa and not enough finesse.

I did enjoy the story, and the child, and that saved this overall. I just thought the characters were inconsistent and it bothered me.

Waiting For Nick (Stanislaskis #5) (Silhouette Special Edition #1088)
Waiting For Nick (Stanislaskis #5) (Silhouette Special Edition #1088) - Nora Roberts Despite being the 5th book in a series and cameoing other couples and their children this is a good stand alone focusing on Freddie and Nick. Freddie may only be 24 to Nick's 30 but she is totally set on them being together. The ways in which she sets out to seduce Nick into falling in love with her is both sweet and creative, after all 10 years is long enough to wait for true love!

Convincing Alex (The Stanislaskis, #4)
Convincing Alex (The Stanislaskis, #4) -... Convincing Alex (The Stanislaskis, #4) - Nora Roberts 1.5 As a standalone I just didn't like it. Of course I loved seeing the Stanislaskis and Rachel giving birth (!), but Alex and Bess just fell flat even though there was an attempt at world-building.

Taming Natasha (The Stanislaskis)
Taming Natasha (The Stanislaskis) - Nora Roberts Spence Kimball has moved to a smaller town to teach, anywhere is basically smaller than his former residence in New York. He's trying to create a more intimate life for himself and his young daughter, a chance for her to have more freedom and maybe grow up a little less sheltered. In the town there is a Toy Shop owned by Natasha Stanislaski. When they meet there's some confusion and attraction when Natasha mistakes Spence's sister for his wife and is annoyed when he chats her up. They have to overcome that obstacle first, the next obstacle is her past where she lost a child and was heartbroken by the man she thought was the love of her life. I liked how it wasn't easy, how the two of them had to work out their problems and issues before coming together and you know that these issues will rear their heads again but that the two of them will work it out again. I enjoyed the re-read, even if I didn't really remember the first reading.
