Some people really shouldn't become parents. There's no absolute guarantee when it comes to the love between a parent and their child
I'd heard great things about this book, read the sample and decided to give it a try. It's a Japanese novel about a cat called Nana, who narrates part of the novel. He was rescued by Satoru, who decides to take him on a road trip to visit some of his childhood friends.
The novel's quite different from what I imagined, but in a good way. I thought it'd be a light read about the antics of a cat, but instead it's in equal parts endearing and heartbreaking as relationships from Satoru's past are unravelled.
