Damn you Tom Burke that made me think that this book could be any good...

Christ, I knew from the start that this would be bad when the two MC decided to have sex in a alley the first moment they saw each other. Now I haven't read Dumas book yet, but I have seen a couple of movies and that's not really my image of Athos. I don't know if this is NA or Erotica but it sure as hell isn't my cup of tea...

I wish I had seen the cover to the book before I requested this book then I would probably have passed on it...a half naked man on the cover...I can guess what kind of this book is...but damn it, I saw Tom Burke before my eyes!

Now if you excuse me, I have not yet finished watching the first season of the Musketeers and I think I rather do that than read a minute more of this garbage...

My thoughts:

I usually don’t read much historical romance books and requested this one by accident but I must say I really enjoyed this book.

I liked the setting of the book and the characters as well as the story itself.

I thought it was a fairly easy read and easy to understand and follow. 

Both main characters were pretty strong and were easy to relate to, which is always a plus for me.

Overall I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would and recommend it to anyone who likes romance and historical romance novels.
