Review: "Why the Devil Stalks Death" (Death and the Devil, #2) by L.J. Hayward
Why the Devil Stalks Death - L.J. Hayward

This was close to perfection. Still not a fan of the two timelines narration ('Before' vs. 'After') though, but that didn't really diminish my enjoyment of the book and this author's brilliant writing.

Review: "Devil in the Details" (Death and the Devil, #1.8) by L.J. Hayward
Devil in the Details - L.J. Hayward

I really like how all these novellas move the overall storyline along, but why the author decided to not release a full novel instead remains her secret.

Review: "When the Devil Drives" (Death and the Devil, #1.6) by L.J. Hayward
When the Devil Drives - L.J. Hayward

While I've enjoyed this compilation of 2 short stories just as much as the previous books, it also felt like Jack and Ethan's relationship is becoming stagnant. Let's hope for some more relationship development in the next book.

Review: "Bargaining with the Devil" (Death and the Devil, #1.4) by L.J. Hayward
Bargaining with the Devil - L.J. Hayward

I really enjoyed these 3 short stories; each one of them added another layer to Jack and Ethan's blossoming relationship. Now, could we finally start talking about exclusivity? Please?

Review: "Where Death Meets the Devil: Coda" (Death and the Devil, #1.2) by L.J. Hayward
Where Death Meets the Devil: Coda - L.J. Hayward

A nice bonus chapter/epilogue to the first book in this series.
