Review: "Will & Patrick's Happy Ending" (Wake Up Married, #6) by Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
Will & Patrick's Happy Ending (Wake Up Married Book 6) - Alice Griffiths,Leta Blake

Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by this last installment of the "Wake Up Married" series.

I missed the humor of the first five books as well as the snarky banters between Will and Patrick. Their final drama felt artificial and unnecessary, and the angst absolutely didn't work for me. I never even cried or teared up once, because guess what? I've read the title!

And what about that assface Ryan and Hartley? They both played a big part at the beginning of this series, so I wanted/needed some closure in that department.

But even though I wished for a more sweeter and lighter finale, when I ultimately got to the last page it was a nice ending to a great series.

So I give the overall serial 4.5 stars and my highest recommendation.

Review: "Will & Patrick Meet the Mob" (Wake Up Married, #5) by Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
Will & Patrick Meet the Mob (Wake Up Married Book 5) - Alice Griffiths,Leta Blake

I'm not sure if I have made myself clear enough, so let me say it again:

I just love this series and I love Will and Patrick! LOVE THEM!

In all honesty I would read a hundred more books that was just them coming to terms with their feelings and love for each other. They're just so perfect and the sex is HAWT.

I will be so sad when this fun and emotional journey with Will and Patrick is over...

Review: "Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings" (Wake Up Married, #4) by Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings (Wake Up Married Book 4) - Alice Griffiths,Leta Blake

I am still head over heels in love with Patrick, my sexy HottieMcBrainSurgeon.

I mean, how can you NOT love someone who finds out that he's fallen in love with his fake husband, but is afraid that Will doesn't return his feelings, so the only way he can express his love is by confessing it to his best friend, who is just waking up from surgery and unable to understand anything that he's saying?

“You’re a Libra. What do Libras think about love?” he asks. Then he puts his thumb to her bottom lip and moves it up and down, pitching his voice up high. “What’s the problem, Dr. Jerkface? Love is beautiful. You should be happy. Have my jam doughnut.”

“Only idiots think love is beautiful,” Patrick says in his own voice.

“I’m not an idiot. I’m an optimist.” Her lip is soft but dry under his thumb and she frowns in her sleep.

This was also the hottest episode so far. And by hot I mean kinky. I am not so sure how I feel about the addition of the BDSM elements though, like breath play or spanking. I mean, they were nicely written and explained and the sex was hot, but somehow it felt out of place in this story and Will & Patrick's relationship. But if the authors thought that it needed to be included, then that's ok. Even if it didn't totally work for me.

Review: "Will & Patrick Do the Holidays" (Wake Up Married, #3) by Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
Will & Patrick Do the Holidays - Alice Griffiths,Leta Blake

This series just gets better and better!

I already loved the first two installments, when the dynamics between Will and Patrick were "just" funny and sweet, with some excruciating UST on the side.

But with the addition of feelings, steam and sex, I am totally sucked in at this point.

There were so many great scenes in this one: the cuddling, the scene at the bar, the slow dancing, Patrick opening up to Will about his past, and so on.

This is such a fun and romantic series with two absolutely adorable MCs.

I can't wait to see what happens next.
