A war that had never happened.

The Chief of Intelligence had never dealt with such brilliant people who were entangling him in multiple versions of events. After a while, he is unable to differentiate between the real and planted evidence. The clock is ticking. The media is on adrenaline.

The Chief is faced with several questions. How did it all happen? Will he be able to solve the case? Can he get the accused politicians acquitted? Should he find an escape for himself amidst the turmoil?

It's time he found the answers!

All In: (The Naturals #3) - Jennifer Lynn Barnes

♪♫My Pick For Book Theme Song♫♪

Cold Water by Theory of a Deadman  --This song speaks of the dynamic between Cassie, Dean, Lia, Sloan and Michael, and how they are there for each other.  Holding each other up.  I picked the version of this song by TOAD over Justin Bieber & Co. because TOAD is one of my all time favorites, although it's a really crappy lyric video, if only I had the time to make my own.♫

My Thoughts

This book rocked, it has this wonderful dynamic of five characters, who I feel like I come to know with each book.  I love how every little thing in each story is intertwined.  Each book, so far, gets more intense, more bizarre, and overall, it's just an amazing series.  I highly recommend!

Ending:  5/5  Cliffhanger: F*ck Yes…I actually went to library site to check out the next book (Bad Blood)…and it's not even out yet*…so sad.  I did put it on hold, though.

Will I continue this series?  See above^^^

*Bad Blood is out now since 5/1/17 actually.  Apparently, I took a long time to post this review, probably that open house I've been trying to prepare for. Ugh! #sonotapartyplanner

Daughter of Deep Silence - Carrie Ryan

♪♫My Pick For Book Theme Song♫♪

Colors by Crossfade  --This one took me awhile…I thought maybe, Going Under by Evanescense, and All Around Me by Flyleaf, and they both fit for this book…I just really wanted something that conveyed how I felt about this story and Libby/Frances as a whole.

♫Can you feel it crush you does it seem to bring the worst in you out

There's no running away from these things that hold you down

Do they complicate you because they make you feel like this

of all the colors that you've shine this is surely not your best

But you should know these colors that you're shining are

Surely not the best colors that you shine♫

My Thoughts

The GOOD: This is so much like the TV show Revenge, in Revenge you have an Emily/Amanda girl and in this you have Libby/Frances girl.  In truth, the reasons for their revenge are completely different, it's the deceptions and the emotions that are similar.  The confusion of the two characters warring inside each other at once, felt very similar.  I liked this about it.  The narration was excellently done, Karissa Vacker made the listening experience pleasant and easily accomplished.

The BAD:  My first complaint is this seemed a little too convenient, like everything fell into place too easily, even when it tried to make it seem like things weren't going according to plan.   My second is the ending, it was rushed and I'm not sure I always knew what was happening.

OVERALL: a worthwhile read for me…and if you think you would like a YA young love take on Revenge, this could be perfect for you.

♪♫My Pick For Book Theme Song♫♪

Going Under by Evanescence  --this is for…you-know-who…ya know the one who shall remain a mystery…

♫Blurring and stirring the truth and the lies

My Thoughts

A fast paced, suspenseful mystery, that's not without it's flaws.  But, overall I found this nail bitingly intense and hard to put down.  As long as you're not expecting literary perfection, and you enjoy YA Suspense/Mysteries this is a thrilling read.  Seriously, I just kept waiting for the banjo...
