The first book in the Sons of the Alpha series is feisty and energetic story that holds readers hostage throughout. The characters are strong, compelling and ensures that readers will want to know more while the hero and heroine demand the reader’s attention stays focused on them. Alexia and Neil have some serious chemistry flowing between them and has sparks flying in every direction with some heated clashes and passionate encounters. Their relationship is anything but smooth due to quite a few obstacles, differences of opinion, kidnappings and alpha male stubbornness and female determination.
The story is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout with lots of thrilling suspense, spirited attitudes and adrenaline pumping danger. The story has several different major things going on at once as Alexia in introduced to her new world and a father that she didn’t know existed while a rival pack wants her for several other reasons, shifters are being hunted, kidnapped and tortured, and hunters that would like to get their hands on Alexia for some disturbing and maniacal plans. The author has created a fascinating world full of intriguing characters that easily draw readers into their world while surprising twists and betrayals keeps readers on their toes and ensures that there is never a dull moment to be found throughout this thrilling and energetic story.

Addison Carmichael has been a storyteller since she was a young girl. Even then every tale she imagined had a romantic element that grabbed front and center. She is absolutely in love with love—giving it, receiving it, then sending it back out into the world. She believes there is something miraculous and supernatural about true love in every form, and incorporates this magical element into all of her stories.
Besides reading and writing (blissful addictions), Addison loves the mountains and ocean, and enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding and star gazing. She also bakes, knits and sews, which she never has enough time for. She attempted mastering several musical instruments, singing, painting, photography, dancing and archery, but always returned to writing and storytelling as the “one true love” of her life.
Addison was born and raised in Southern California and has lived and traveled all over the west coast (and the world), now living happily-ever-after with her family in the Pacific Northwest in Snohomish, Washington.
