For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleI feel horribly betrayed by this book.I read the third book in this series (found it in the lending library) and enjoyed it, so when I saw the first book as an audiobook at the library, I figured it would be a good read.It all started well enough. Probably my least favorite of Judy Blume’s children’s books so far. I seem to remember enjoying it as a child, but unlike the Ramona and Beezus and Henry books, it has no charm for me as an adult reader. Peter is cursed with an obnoxious little brother who gets all the attention and ruins everything...

Tales of a Fourth Grade nothing is a funny book about a boy and his younger brother. They experience many different experiences and trials throughout the book. I think this book would be a great one to use in a literature circle for older elementary grades. Lexile Level - 470

My mom recommended this book, it was one of her childhood favorites. Needless to say, I didn't agree. It bored me, and just wasn't my style. A good book, just one that is not for me.

They're especially great for kids with younger siblings. On a side note, I feel as though I'll never reach...

As a kid I always like Fudge and thought it was the funniest. Having re-read it now as an adult I find him extremely annoying, frustrating and "fake". I feel nothing but sympathy for Peter.

Awwww, come on...it is Judy Blume, pre-teen books. I loved her pre-teen stuff when I was around 9 or ten! Her adult stuff...not so much!
