Lmao this one was hilarious yet also so dreamy and sweet in its pairing of Brenna and Shawn.Between his jealousy and her temper, trying to bathe makeup up and her younger sister's spite, everyones shock over them together, both of their pride and stubbornitya definite rereadand the fae made it that m...
The second book in the Gallagher series and it's pretty typical Nora Roberts Romance, with the background of the family pub and the expansion plans that I ruined for myself by reading book three before this. Provided you ignore the annoying Oirish-isms littered throughout it's an enjoyable story. ...

I adore this series. My only complaint is that they end so quickly. All the fun of getting up to the proposal and then BAM, done. You don't get to enjoy the after bits.
What an extremely annoying female character Brenna is. She can't carry a single conversation without flying off the handle. No growth or maturity at the end. Really wish I didn't spend the time reading this.
I really liked the first one in the series, but I just couldn't concentrate on this. Maybe two Irish main characters is one too many; all the accents made my head fuzzy.
I was looking forward to Sean & Brenna's story because I love friends-to-lovers type stories. And while I liked this one it didn't quite give me the totally sucked in 5-star read that the first book in this series did. I think I ended up liking Brenna more as a secondary character than here in her...
A best friends turn lovers is always a fav. Toss in some music, a feisty heroine, and the tall, quiet kinda male that is underestimated and you have me locked. Just lovely. I wouldn't mind me an Irish prince like Shawn.
This is probably my least enjoyed NR book so far. It was ok it just didn't have the grit I usually feel from her books. The Irish language became a bit frustrating and didn't feel real and the ending felt rushed after a lot of nothing had really happened through the rest of the book. :(
