Terry Giles (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is professor of Theology at Gannon University. In addition to biblical textual studies, Giles has participated in archaeological digs and has traveled extensively in the Middle East, engaging in both textual and historical studies. A popular instructor and recipient of Gannon University's Distinguished Faculty Award, Giles has served as visiting lecturer in colleges and graduate schools on four continents. Giles combines a grounding in the biblical text with a sensitive awareness concerning the religious quandaries and upheavals facing the spiritual seeker. In addition to his academic publications, Giles is also the author of: "A Doubter's Guide to Heaven" and a "Doubter's Guide to the Bible." Terry and his wife Cheryl Giles make their home in Erie, PA.
