Terry Dorn has experienced torture as a child, lived on the streets in Minneapolis Minnesota at age ten. He lived through the Hippie and Jesus People generation of cults and mind control. All of these experiences has helped him to develope an inner faith that has made him a bounce back person. His recent mental breakdown in 1989 took him through a different type of suppression. "The mental health system has a unique method of bringing an individual to the point of stopping any form of mental and physical efforts", says Terry. With a heart felt concern for others he visualizes a world in which every individual is honored for his/her unique gifts and talents. This vision has helped him to create the book (Our Memories)a collection of consumer writings, (The Insider) a newspaper promoting hope and recovery and now his newest book (The Cross and the Psychiatrist).
