Series: Tall, Dark & Dangerous 1 (#7)
I honestly thought I would like this story much less than I have some of the other ones in this series. However, I ended up enjoying it much more than most of the series before it. It was easy to get past the age of the hero and enjoy his romance with the much younger doctor on his team.
I found the first half of this book to be rather dull and slow moving, but it improved greatly during the second half. It had been highly recommended and I went into it with high expectations that were not quite met. Still, all in all, a decent read. Plan to check out the rest of the series.
I think it one of my favorites in the series so far. I loved Jake and Zoe's story. His struggle with love is so sweet.
This is the first book that I have read of this series, even though its number 7 LOL, well I don't always read books in the order of the series. Sometimes I just grab a book because it sounds like something I would enjoy reading. I just grabbed this book off of the library shelf, because I love read...
