Decent read. This is what I would call a "light and fluffy romance" hence my shelf. Even though there was some "excitement" trying to find the blackmailer and the murderer, I would still call this a light and fluffy read. There were also some "awww" moments. All in all an enjoyable, quick read. (If o...

Don't read the synopsis. It'll make you run for the hills. I only read it because it was written by Sands. It wasn't horrible, but not my favorite by her. It a bit or a ridiculous comedy of errors. It got slapstickish at times.

The premise of this book, that a lady would put her dead husband on ice and go to a ball as if everything was fine, is what drew me in. Such an interesting start. Too bad it didn't stay that way.The romance, if it can even be called that, was way too fast and completely unbelievable. The main vil...

A little bit of regency Weekend at Bernie's. Fun read with likable characters. Nothing too deep but entertaining none the less.

Ms Sands' historicals are often hit or miss with me - either v. good, or v. bad. After the highlander trilogy recently offered (which included one of the very few books I DNFed), I was...hesitant with the Madison sisters. I'm glad to say this was actually v. good. Ok, I may go digging on the inte...

I wasn't impressed. I love her other series but I found this one lacking.

I picked this book up for it's originality. It didn't disappoint. I liked the twists and had a difficult time putting this book down.

When I read this book I found myself smiling a number of times. The problems encountered when you try to hide a dead body ! This is a fun easy romance to read. The fairy tale courtship did not turn into a happily-ever-after . . .Not until her husband dropped dead, that is. He had been horrible enough...
