Harry Bosch has been forced into retirement, but he hasn't lost sense of his mission -- to find killers and make sure they are brought to justice. But he's trying to fill his day with rebuilding and restoring an old Harley-Davidson. Which basically means that his half-brother, Mickey Haller, doesn't...

This book feels pretty fragmented to me. I think Connelly missed a great chance to showcase both Bosch and Haller in this one. Instead we primarily follow Bosch around as he acts like he is being tortured to investigate a case for Haller. And we weirdly have POV’s showing the killers in this one so ...

Published November 3rd 2015. No cold cases this time… Connelly at his worst is still better than most crime novelists ever achieve. I think I’ve said this each time I read one of the new ones just out. I would file this one under the category of a good airplane novel that passes the time on a lo...

Connelly's Bosch is one of my favorite series -- twenty books in and I still find any new one to be compelling. I love Bosch more than Connelly's Haller -- I always prefer the Order part of Law & Order. I haven't even finished Haller's last book! While Haller makes an appearance here -- considering ...
