I think I went into this with my expectations a little too high. It had been billed as a great fantasy novel with gay main characters, and I'm afraid I didn't find that accurate.It had the makings of a great fantasy novel. And it had the makings of a great romance. I suppose it just never all cam...

This was a re-read of the new digital release. Such a good story. I forgot how complex this was even though the forward says that it was one of Ms Huff's early works. No wonder why I continue to enjoy her writing.The combination between a woman who turned to knowledge to make up for her father's ...
