This book was engrossing, and despite the hints of magic woven throughout, I never guessed the eventual origins.
This wasn't what I'd expected; I think I expected less romance and more magic. Also, despite the title, I still don't really know what the hum or the shiver is. It was pretty good. Considering that it's about fairies, I really liked it. Usually, as soon as fairies are mentioned, things get really corny, but this was good.
