This was my introduction to Camilla Läckberg, who at that time was starting to become really popular in the Netherlands. For some reason, and I'm guilty myself as well as I really liked them, Scandinavia thrillers were very popular a few years ago in the Netherlands. As in, really, really popular. N...

Not bad, different from what I'm used to, but fun.

I suppose that a book that kept me in bed reading all day deserves at least 4 stars. Might delve into Scandinavian thrillers more often. Yet still amazed at the quantity of coffee these Swedes drink.

A bit slow starting off but it does pick up. I found the story sufficiently engrossing to read the next in the series. I did enjoy the story but felt a little let down by the ending. In reality a 3.5 star rating is more accurate.

But since Lauren and Tina haven’t kicked me out I’m am back reviewing. I have been addicted to Swedish mysteries lately so when there was a chance to read T...

I'd prefer to give The Ice Princess 2.5 stars, but...This was a good, solid mystery, decently told and full of red herrings. The denouement was a surprise, and not. The author skillfully manipulated the plot so that any outcome she chose would have seemed perfectly plausible and perfectly acceptab...

16/07/2011 - The discovery of a frozen body reveals dark secrets in an isolated coastal community.Although I have been warned off Lackberg by various contingents, I'll have a listen to this offering from R4x.

Was just OK. Pace was very slow. I will be reading the 2nd in the series, so hopefully it improves.
