This was my second book by Laurie Notaro and so I went into this book expecting to laugh. Laurie Notaro is a pro of taking the total embarrassment of the ineptitude of being a complete spazz and making it funny and "almost" normal. A fellow spazz, I grabbed this title up in hopes of getting some muc...
This was the first Laurie Notaro book I read, I've pretty much read everything she's written since. I absolutely love her humor and can identify with half of what she writes about. She is laugh-out-loud funny!
Collection of the author's newspaper columns which was touted as an amusing, funny listen. I almost quit after the first disc but it did get better and the narration by Hilary Huber was very good.
Too self-conscious for me. I wanted to like it more than I did.
I didn't like this one much either. The author is whiney and drinks too much and is lazy. Am I morphing into a finger-pointing- crone?
