I read this, and I remember thinking it was really, really good, but I can't remember precisely what was good about it. So the other night when I spotted a copy secondhand for less than $1, I bought it. I'll report back later why it's good.
I've seen this book compared to The Secret History, a book I loved. I enjoyed solving the mysteries of the book and I enjoyed the Latin words and phrases that added depth to the book.
