Nicholas Sparks isn't the best author ever, but i do enjoy his plots. I had already seen and enjoyed the movie and i think i enjoyed the book just as much. Probably more, since Miley Cyrus isn't in the book. I think the characters were well-developed. There was one Captain Obvious thing that Ronni...

I was crying (hard) while reading the last few chapters of this book. I remember a good friend of mine (Ate Aida, Bennito's second mom) who died last month because of cancer. I visited her when she was in Hospice and after almost 3 weeks, to her burial. She is a nice person and it's sad that she's n...

During my travels with Nicholas Sparks, I’ve noticed (with the sole exception of A Walk to Remember) that the more recent the book is, the more I’ll like it. However, I found this was most definitely not the case with The Last Song. This is definitely one of my least favorite Sparks novels ever, and...

It was a cute story that was definitely sad at times. I really enjoyed it, but I can't say it was one of my favorites.

Ok, I admit the book's plot was highly predictable and it's a typical tear-jerker (as probably any book by Sparks) but, frankly, I liked it a lot nevertheless. There is something about it that speaks to me and my emotions. I liked the way it was written and how easy it was to get absorbed in the boo...

I’ve been avoiding reading books by Nicholas Sparks for a good while now. I always question the quality of writing from any author who can pump out books so easily and who has a plethora of Hallmark/Lifetime movies for almost all of the books he’s written. To me that signifies that the writing will ...

With Nicholas Sparks you can count on two things, great writing and loads of drama! His books are an emotional roller-coaster that rarely end with a happy ever after! They are draining in a good way! very cathartic!

***Please check out my full review at www.acreads.wordpress.com!I feel like I need to begin this review by saying that I am not generally a fan of Nicholas Sparks. I have read A Walk To Remember and The Notebook but never ventured much further into his work. I have always felt as though his story li...
