The gods have abandoned us.
It has been 14 years since the Great War, and the Demon clans have been scattered. While the Human Empire seeks to destroy them, the Brotherhood of Shadows (a band of Demon warriors) seek to return their people to the light. By any means necessary.
The only obstacle to all out war is the neutral nation of Teforia, ruled by the Xegin, a mysterious race of augmented Humans. But even the fabled Land of Peace has become embroiled in war.
Amidst all the chaos, two Swordsmen form an unlikely alliance. The angel fights for peace between Humans and Demons, his blade hiding a weeping soul. The Demon fights for vengeance, whose youth masks his deadly skill. Together, they'll attempt to prevent the world from ripping itself asunder.
Assuming they don't kill each other first.
